Battery is excellent! The features are great. The package is also good and I always use it when I’m going out, in my bag, to keep it protected. I bought the mini version and it’s perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and it’s worth the price.

These headphones are amazing. They are so comfortable that I forget I have them on. I love that I can head out on a hike or run with friends and I can still have my tunes and engage in conversation without feeling like I’m missing half of the conversation,

I got the mini size for Christmas and they are so big it makes them practically unusable. I tried running in them and my hair hits them and moves them around, I was wearing a collared shirt and it continually pushes against the back piece, leaning back onto my couch they push forward, they are just way too big.

The concept of bone conduction hearing is probably only familiar to those that have had a recent hearing test. When that part of the test is performed you can actually hear the test tones with your inner ear through bone conduction. So this concept is not a gimmick and it actually works. I was quite surprised when I experienced it for the first time and I never knew that it was even possible. These headphones take that concept to a new level and instead of hearing test tones you can actually hear your favorite music or audio programming instead. The advantage being, that you have a way of listening to your favorite audio as well as what is going on around you simultaneously. In effect, technically, your ears become a two channel audio mixer with audio perceived from the normal way, through the ear canal into the ear drum as one audio channel and the audio perceived through bone conduction through to the inner ear as the second audio channel. So what does all of this get you? Probably for the first time in your life you can have your cake and eat it too. You can hear your favorite audio programming almost like background music while being able to hear everything else going on around you at the same time. This cumulative effect may take a little getting used to, especially if you have never experienced anything like it before, but the acclimation process is quick and you will get used to hearing two different and separate audio sources in no time at all. So, if you are in a situation where you need to pay attention to the sounds around you but also want to hear your favorite jam at the same time without losing one or the other, then these are the headphones for you!

I have worn Shokz headsets since shortly after they were made available. I have had to replace a couple sets, but the process was quick and seamless. The latest versions are slightly larger and therefore a little more cumbersome to use, but still very effective.

Amazing quality!! Sound is on par for what was expect from shokz. This is the third pair I have owned and this model did not disappoint. Light weight, quick charging, what more could I say but pure awesomeness!! Thank you Shokz for this new design....you really outdid yourself!!

Sound is very bassy and punchy compared to the opencomm and openrun I like that, it's just too bad that hailing the assistant is still so bad on my pixel phone makes that feature almost unusable and I so I carry around order buds in case I actually need to get things done with my headphones. Would also like to see a more in depth eq especially now that there is an app. Also the app shouldn't have to get my location all the time that's a pain

I have been using a previous model for 3 years, I loved it, I had so many friends buying because I loved it so much. My wife got one, my daughter got one. After 3 yrs, the battery started degrading slightly, I ride for even 10 hours, and my old model after about 5 hours, 5:30 stopped working. When I saw this model, 10 hours life, I was so excited, i bought it immediately, as I trusted so much aftershokz. Well, what a disappointment. Battery dies after 4h:30. At 4h it start alerting charge me. The 10 hours declared are almost a scam. And everything else is worse, much less comfortable, I could wear the previous model for 10 hours, I did not even felt it, this one, after two hours leaves marks on the ears with the thinner sticks. The buttons work much worse, the charger requires a special cable, everything is such such a disaster. I just got back from a long ride, my openrun pro is already in the trash, I am looking for an old Aftershokz product, I'll never buy anymore a Shokz product.

I wish I knew these existed years ago. I walk with dogs day and night and was getting nervous about not hearing what's around (have a reactive dog) with headphones in my ears. These are safe and effective. The music quality is not as good as a Sennheiser or a Bose if you are a music buff but not bad. Good for running music, podcasts, audio books etc. I thought getting used to the location of the buttons would take time but it was easy. They're surprisingly comfortable. no more ear aches after an hour of walking. The only challenge was figuring out a comfortable way to wear them with hats on cold days but doable.

Overall I like Shotz open ear headphones, ease of use, sound and ability to enjoy my music while being aware of the environment around me. A version with slimmer/smaller external ear pieces and control box plus additional color options would make these perfect.
