Best blue tooth device I’ve

Best blue tooth device I’ve tried. Allows me to wear earplugs for protection in noisy environments and still listen to music and take phone calls. Regular ear buds just fall out of my ears when working and moving around. Open Run stays in place and sound quality is as good if not better than ear buds.

Amazing for every day use

I was surprised at the ease of use and connectivity. For day to day use when exercising or travelling to work via the train, I simply love them. Healthy to use as they don't need to be inserting into the ear canal and they stay in place over the ears instead of in them. Great design

Goodbye lost earbuds

I haven’t tested it by wearing it all day, but two hours is no problem. I can better answer that when I’m on a long flight. The sound is good… Excellent… And I feel like I’m doing less damage to my ears. And of course there is the safety, even walking down the street and hearing a car before you turn your head. I recommend them to people, some are afraid of an ear bud falling out, and a person who was hearing impaired… Who is interested because she could possibly wear Shokz with hearing aids in. If this works, it may not be a major marketing demographic, but to do something for the hearing impaired… Would be a nice thing, and only improve your reputation.

I have had earlier models

I have had earlier models back when the company was called AirShokz, including the Air. By comparison, the OpenRun Pro are too quiet. If I'm in any sort of environment with noise, I have trouble hearing it, unlike with the prior models. I do like the magnetic charger attachment, although I'll miss being able to just find a random mini-USB cable to use like I could with my old model.

Shokz Open Pro Review

Shokz Open Pro Review The Shokz Open Pro headset has some excellent features but falls short in key areas for outdoor use. Here's my experience: Pros: Great Indoor Sound: The audio quality indoors is impressive. It’s clear and works well for casual listening or calls in a quiet environment. Comfortable Fit: The design is lightweight and comfortable for extended use. Cons: Mic Performance: The microphone is almost non-existent in functionality. Calls outdoors are frustratingly unreliable, and even indoors, it doesn’t meet expectations. Outdoor Challenges: I bought this primarily for biking, but the sound struggles to compete with environmental noise. Even at max volume, it's hard to hear over traffic or wind, making it less practical for outdoor activities. Low Volume: It lacks the volume boost needed for noisy environments, which is disappointing. Excessive Vibrations: The vibrations can be distracting and don’t add to the listening experience. Conclusion: While it’s a solid choice for indoor use, it’s not well-suited for outdoor activities like biking, where environmental noise drowns out the sound. I wish the volume was louder and vibrations were less pronounced. For outdoor enthusiasts, this headset may not meet your needs.

Assistant button still buggy on pixel sound still keeps improving

Sound is very bassy and punchy compared to the opencomm and openrun I like that, it's just too bad that hailing the assistant is still so bad on my pixel phone makes that feature almost unusable and I so I carry around order buds in case I actually need to get things done with my headphones. Would also like to see a more in depth eq especially now that there is an app. Also the app shouldn't have to get my location all the time that's a pain

I adore them, but the mini a joke.

The Openrun Pro Mini isn’t even an inch smaller than the regular ones. It sticks out so far behind me I can’t sit back in the car or my recliner while using them. No way I could buy them for a kid, who would benefit from hearing the outside world. Please make a smaller one?! A Junior? I love most everything else about them and they do hold about a 10 hour charge for me. I also see that most of these come with a case, mine did not. Is that new?

Light and comfortable, I sometimes

Light and comfortable, I sometimes forget I have them on. Decent battery life. Music audio is good, not great, but listening to You Tube or podcasts, it's like the sound is just in my head. The best feature is hearing sound around me, like my wife talking to me!

Not as good as Aeropex (last Gen) for sound

This is my third pair of Shokz Headphones, last pair being Aeropex, and I’ve had no problems with either previous pair, in short they’ve been fantastic and I still use both of them. Positives, Open run pros instantly feel lighter and more comfortable than last Gen (Aeropex) and get just as loud, they also pair via Bluetooth a second or so faster Unfortunately for me that is where the positives end when comparing the Open Run Pro to Aeropex First off, I’m no audio quality expert/purist, I just want a pair of headphones that delivers something that sounds good. Music played through Open Run Pro sounds clear, but the music is dull. I use the Shokz headphones for cycling, hiking and gym, and generally listen to tracks which have a bit of energy/vibrancy to them, Open Run Pro sound profile makes the tracks sound flat and lacks bass. While Aeropex sound profile isn’t anywhere near as good as my Sony WF-1000XM4 ( like comparing apples to oranges) I believe the Aeropex (last Gen) sound profile is substantially better than Open Run Pro At higher volumes with a bass heavy track, the Open Run Pro vibrate a lot, and is far more noticeable then Aeropex at the same volume, close to the point of being distracting on the Open Run Pro. Lastly the Open Run Pro came with only one charging cable, where Aeropex came with two, which is disappointing given the charging port is a proprietary design The Open Run Pro is definitely a setup up in comfort to Areopex, but a number of steps back as to track sound quality and vibration annoyance (at high volumes such as 80% or higher)

Daith wearers rejoice! I didn't

Daith wearers rejoice! I didn't consider before getting my peircings that they would make wearing earbuds uncomfortable. The open ear design means I don't need to worry about any of my jewelry plans. It's also great to be able to hear people coming up behind me, I run in a busy park and awareness is key. My only quibble is that if there is traffic noise it can be hard to hear spoken words unless you turn them up fairly high - stick with music, not podcasts.
