This my fourth generation of “bone phone” from Shokz. My primary use is for having music while being alert to ambient sounds while I ride my bike on East Tennessee roads. I also use while practicing foreign languages and while traveling. I lost my home recently to a fire - losing everything - and needed a replacement. The sound quality remains fine and has even improved a bit and along with a rapid charge yielding hours of listening. The water protection comes in handy if I get caught in a downpour or am listening to news while I shower.

The headphones themselves are pretty nice. Low enough profile that most people don't question it. Can be quiet enough to easily hear people while listening but loud enough to overpower them if you want. Comfy 9/10 times. The only thing holding this back is the bass, if I didn't have Dolby Atmos I wouldn't even listen to my music. It's a very muddy sound overall even with adjustments

Great headphones, great battery life, good sound. Wish they worked with Siri and had better functional control to skip a song rather than having to push the multi function button twice. It's hard to time that double button press when you are running all out in a 5k.

OpenRun Pros are amazing technology. I got the standard pair and noticed everyone around me had the mini's. The standards, when laying my head back on the couch they would push the product forward. I returning these and just ordered the minis. I wish the minis had more color selections. Overall great product. There was one day I literally was driving my self crazy looking for them to find out they were on my ears. Totally forgot about them.

Absolutely love these headphones! They’re easy to carry around and they play music well. I get to listen to music and safely listen to my surroundings while running and rock climbing. 10/10 would recommend! Also the battery lasts around 10 hours, it’s great!

It's very convenient and lightweight. You barely notice you're wearing it. The sound is good for a bone-conduction headphone and is definitely better then older iterations. The water-resistance is good so far. I've ridden under a rain for a few hours and I've had no problem.

Connection is sometimes spotty (or with very low volume), and I either need to put in a hard-wired set of earphones or use phone / computer speaker. Headset always wants to connect to my phone, even when I want to connect to laptop. A bit of a chore to make that work. Could be a little smaller to fit around my head better. Otherwise, it works as advertised. I can wear them at work / home / gym and hear outside sounds when I need to.

I've had these headphones for a week, and I have to say that the sound quality is great while I can hear what's going on around me when I am cycling around the community or walking from the bus stop to my college class in an urban city. The fact that I can hear music or calls loud enough and also hear my surroundings around me is why I will absolutely recommend these headphones to anyone, especially if you live in a city. It feels comfortable when it is placed on both ears across the headband. I thought that it would feel uncomfortable before I bought it and I realized that this is not the case ever since I tried it on. A feature I like about this is that this model has rapid charging technology. Shokz promises seemed to be correct based on my experience with my Open Run Pro headphones as a user of it.

This is my third pair (my dog likes the taste?) and I would gladly buy them again because the comfort, controls and sound are simply the best. I have tried them all, in ear, bone only, open hook on ear. I just can't think there could be better sound. I'm a bass player, so you know that was a big deal, and these deliver.

Perfect for listening to TV, radio, podcasts, taking phone calls, etc. while working out. Also great for driving or riding a bicycle. Ambient noise, oncoming cars, sirens, can easily be heard as your ear canal is not blocked with an ear bud. Much more safe than a bud. If someone wants to talk with you you can quickly take off the headphones with one hand to engage in a conversation.
