We were in a fender bender (nothing super serious) but baby was perfectly happy and didn't get hurt! I could not recommend it more if I wanted. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 30!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the SnugRide SnugFit 35, and the matching stroller as a set and ended up picking the matching jogger to go along with it, and 2 extra bases! We still came away cheaper than a bunch of other brands for JUST THE STROLLER! Our kiddo loved it on the way home from the hospital until she outgrew it because she got too tall. It was great to be able to take her from the car to inside when she would snooze as well, since we didn't need to wake her up to move her.

I bought the travel system that included the 35 inch car seat. I went for 35 inch car seat as I wanted it to last a little longer for height and weight of the child.

It was important to me to get one of the mobile kind with a handle rather than the kind that stays in the car. I expect it to fit the whole first year. It has been useful to keep the baby asleep a little while longer rather than waking her up to transfer out of the car. Fits the stroller great too.

It is super lightweight and easy to tighten and loosen and I am so happy with it. My sister is having a baby soon and I got her the same one for her baby shower! I have never been in an accident with this car seat in the car, so I can't attest to that, but my babies feel snug and secure in it and we are so happy with it. We have the jogger that this clicks into and the double stroller and it makes life so much easier that I can just pull that car seat out with baby in it and click it into any of our strollers and go.

I broke my foot in 8 places, needed multiple surgeries on the foot, had airbag burns, multiple bruises, and a totaled car. My 3 month old daughter was in this car seat, and was COMPLETELY OK. no bruises, no bumps, no scratches. I will recommend this car seat to EVERYONE.
