This may be an issue with just my seat, but it isn't safe. I love the seat but the connection of my seat to the base is troublesome. I have to shake around and fiddle with the seat to safely secure the seat. I have to head almost 7 separate clicks before the seat is in. We have reinstalled the base many times trying to see if we made the error but nope. Removing the seat is almost impossible once the car eat is connected to the base. I often unbuckle and carry my newborn in which is a pain and defeats the purpose of a seat that I can carry.

After using this seat, I can say with absolute certainty that I would never recommend it. First, and most importantly, it does not have enough support for newborns, even large ones. My son was born at 10 lb 4oz 22 inches and was absolutely swimming in this car seat, even with the included infant padding. I can't even imagine what it would be like with a smaller baby. Unfortunately, I did not know any better at the time and we received this car seat and an additional base as a gift. I thought the fit was just "how it is" but after doing more research and seeing plenty of other newborns in their car seats, looking all safe and snug and secure, I came to realize this car seat is just not the quality I had hoped. It was too late to return at that point and we did not have it in the budget to purchase a new car seat and an additional base. I was loaned a Chicco infant seat that we used instead until my son had grown enough to fit more securely in this seat. As we await the arrival of our second child, I find myself looking for a new infant car seat. It is still not in our budget, but I just can't go through the stress of worrying about the safety and comfort of my child every time we have to go in the car. Another thing to note; the canopy is held on by two tiny squares of velcro, and one side is constantly popping off. As soon as you reattach it, the other side pops off, as though it is just not big enough. It also does not extend down very far at all, leaving it ineffective at blocking the sun.

At first glance, it's way sleeker than my previous seat with the addition of built-in inserts for design, comfort and safety. I love how the visor comes down just a little farther to give that extra shade coverage and block the wind. The new one-hand adjustable handle bar is a great feature as well but does take a little getting used to. I'd have to say my two favorite things though are the anti-rebound bar on the base for additional safety and the easy harness adjust. This infant car seat now has the same feature as our 4-Ever car seat where you can adjust the harness strap height by clicking a lever on the front and sliding up and down. No more re-threading! It's also compatible with all other Graco click connect products! Which is awesome because that's what we're rocking! I absolutely loved how light weight this seat is and it was not hard for me to carry around with baby in it. The seats fabric choices are really easy to wipe clean and I liked how it is a gender neutral design. I had absolutely no problems installing this car seat. I first read the very detailed instruction booklet that was included and it was then a breeze to get installed correctly. The feature I like the most is the button on the handle adjust. In other car seats I have tried, you have to hold both of sides in order to move the handle to the correct position. I also really loved the easy adjustable headrest. It is so simple to move it up or down depending on the height of the infant. I also really love the anti rebound bar that is built into the base. Having that added safety feature really gives me the piece of mind that I'm keeping my baby as safe as possible. The only negative that I have found is it is a little difficult to adjust the straps. The button to give the straps slack is kind of awkwardly inside the seat cover. I would say it would definitely not be a deal breaker when choosing to purchase this seat. Overall, I really loved that I was given the chance to test this product from the Stellar Panel and I would definitely recommend this car seat to family and friends. I believe Graco to be a really trustworthy brand and it rings true within the build of this seat. Parents and caregivers can feel safe and confident in using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this car seat in anticipation of our baby girl's birth. It was a very easy install and the colors are beautiful - nice and neutral. Car seats have come a long way! It seems very secure and easy to maneuver.

Was honestly disappointed in this car seat. ConsThe head support it not there. My poor babies head is bobbing all over and I'm constantly trying to hold it up. The canopy on it is cheap and the Velcro barely keeps it on. Pros: it is light to carry and easy to take out of the car. Budget friendly All in all I'd recommend splurging on better head support it would make all the difference . For our second kid I would deff get a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used Graco infant seats for all of our kids and were excited to get to test this seat through the Stellar Product Testing panel. The fabric in the seat is really nice and soft - but cleans up well and feels durable. The installation was super easy - and would be a breeze for new parents and grandparents. I don't love the canopy though- it covers well and the fabric is UVA blocking but my older kids always pull on them and this didn't feel like it could withstand all that. The anti-rebound bar is a great safety addition too and I LOVE the no rethread harness (aka you don't have to undo the straps in the back and feed it back in the next slot to adjust the height as your baby grows). Overall a great lux and high quality car seat.

It's so easy to assemble— you just pull it out the box and adjusted the headrest with the pull of a lever which is so awesome and convenient as it means no take apart to adjust. It takes up a small amount of room in the vehicle compared to other car seats and bases but you still know it's safe. They have awesome comfort inserts that are in two pieces for preferencial use and the base is very safe it is easily adjustable and installs very easily with a level to make sure its level and safe for the baby!
