This pineapple was just right - it was perfectly ripe and delicious. My son and I agreed that it was worth the price to get it already prepared rather than to have to cut off the top and outer shell. You really can’t tell if they are ripe or not that way.

This is better than buying a fresh pineapple, waiting for it to hit that sweet spot and then cutting into it. All that waiting and messy cleanup is over with with this delicious alternative.

My go to when I don't feel like cutting up a pineapple.I knowi it's going to be good,so it's worth the few extra bucks! Bonus less mess,so it's a yummy win for my family.

I tried this product for the first time and was really surprised that the pineapple was so juicy and sweet. I always assumed that the cut up pineapple would be less flavorful than the whole pineapple I picked out for myself but that turned out not to be the case.

Great pineapple, nice and fresh. Wish it would come in slightly smaller size container. It is just my wife and I, both senior citizen. I don’t like throwing food away, nevertheless we generally eat the slices until they’re gone. I am concerned about the sugary sweetness content being pre-diabetic.

I took this to 2 pool parties because my friends liked it so much. The pineapple was very flavorable!

Sometimes the wedges are great, best ever, but…….sometimes the use by dates on most of the product is only a couple of days. A lot of the tubs have very white wedges, which we won’t buy. That happened today with both short life spans and a lot of white ones. Otherwise, when I can dig through the flats and find some good ones they are very good.

Love the pineapple and hate the new plastic container. The fruit is always good, if you know how to select it from the carton. Now this "new" clam shell containers are the most annoying thing I've seen in a while. They can't even seal/ close them well at the plant and never fails they're all sticky and gross on the outside. I haven't purchased one in a couple of weeks because of it.

The fruit is great. BUT, the packaging is horrifically designed. I think the little tabs were intended to help separate the lid from the base. But the tabs are located at the hinge. (For the love of heaven, WHY there?) No product designer should need this explained, but here goes: That hinge does not separate from either the top or the bottom. The hinge was obviously designed to remain attached to both. Therefore, the hinge location resists any force applied when trying to move the tabs up or down. I don't have Schwarzenegger's hand strength. Though I tug as much and as hard as I am able, the lid remains closed. (And while I am trying to pull that plastic monstrousity apart, I am also trying not to bathe myself and my counter and my floor with sticky pineapple juice. Yet in my stuggles, I fail over and over!) I have actually cut the plastic packaging apart with kitchen shears--which is a bit dangerous because the cut plastic becomes so sharp it slices through skin. (Yes, I can testify! Personal experience.) I have also tried wedging a sharp knife between the two plastic parts to separate the lid from the base, but I usually try to avoid this because I know it's tempting fate. How long before the package or the knife slips I am forced to make an unpleasant trip to my local emergency room for a bunch of ugly stitches? Bottom line: I absolutely hate this packaging. I want to quit buying the product. But I keep returning to repeat the same mistakes. WHY? Why do I continue to buy this defective product AGAIN and again and again?!?! The answer: my love of their fruit pulls me back...again, and again, and again. It's dangerous insanity. Sam's PLEASE help me! Change the packaging! Please!

Usually, the pineapple strips look nice and ripe. These were more white than yellow. When we tasted them at home, they weren’t ripe and weren’t very sweet. We didn’t return them because they were okay with a little cayenne pepper, but I won’t buy them again if they aren’t yellow.
