I HAVE HAD SEVERAL TYPES OF BLENDERS THAT HAVE PERFORMED MARGINALLY. MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME THE A2500 FOR CHRISTMAS AND LET ME TELL YOU, THIS BLENDER HITS IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!! IT HANDLES EVERYTHING I PUT IN IT QUICKLY, EFFICIENTLY, AND THE END RESULTS ARE PERFECT. WISH I HAD HAD THIS BLENDER YEARS AGO!!!

I just received my Vitamix last Thursday & set it up on Monday after buying all my fruits and so on to make a smoothie. After putting all of my ingredients in the pitcher I put it on the smoothie preset. It began working and after a couple of seconds it jumped and got extremely loud. I turned it off immediately and removed all of the contents. I washed it and dried it and put it away. On Tuesday morning I decided to give it another try. I put in my soy milk, yogurt and berries. I set it on smoothie and it began blending and as it worked for about three seconds it got louder and louder. I turned it off and decided to use the settings between 1-3. I didn’t take it up to ten. It worked fine. It was loud but not as loud as when you use the smoothie settings. As much as I love the idea of having a Vitamix blender, I don’t think that I will keep it. I spent a lot to have a quality blender and I certainly didn’t pay to have a blender jump up and get louder after a couple of seconds. It’s sounds horrible as if it’s going to explode. The sound frightened my dogs as it did me. I don’t know if this is normal for this blender or if anyone else has experienced this too. I just don’t think it’s worth keeping.

Hubby got me the A2500 with Food Processor attachment for Christmas and I am honestly in love. This is the most efficient and easy to use small appliance I have ever owned. I resisted for so many years due to the price - but it was worth the wait. I have used the blender at least 2 times each day since receiving it. I have yet to use the food processor but am so excited to do so and will update my review once I do!

I've had my Ascent blender for a few years now. I don't use it daily but pretty close. It took me a long time to invest in a Vitamix and it was worth it. It is truly a powerful machine that I don't worry about beating up too much (lost many a blender to daily smoothies). I love that it is so versatile! I got the stainless steel 48 oz. container to reduce my plastic consumption and very happy with the results.

We had been relying on Magic Bullets and Nutribullet for the last ten years. This past year or so I found myself using them 2-3 times a day and was always so grossed out with how hard they were to clean! This blender is SO easy to keep clean that I use it ALL the time! I love that I’m able to truly hide vegetables in my kids food to make sure they are getting a little more nutrition in their diet too. Since getting it a couple weeks ago I have already used it daily, sometimes each meal for something!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this blender several months ago. I am incredibly disappointed that it frequently overheats and stops working. It has overheated while blending different things, that were not difficult blending jobs.

I have now had this blender for a bit over 3 years and it has been awesome. It is super smart, works great with the app, and I love the new style of containers with it. I love all the added containers that you can get to do a multitude of things with it.

I received the item today however it came dead on arrival. I unpacked the item, plugged it into electricity and filled up the cup with water and soup. Then I went and chose the smoothie program + hit the play button and on screen it first showed the second count as 00:50, then 00:49, then E31. I was googling what the E31 error mean and it says the motor is dead, that’s when you get this error. Few seconds later and while I’m reading online I started to smell something is burning, I was looking at the blender and smoke was coming out of it. I also have a video with the leftover of smoke coming out which I was able to capture on camera but can’t seems to have an option to upload a video in here directly, rather have to youtube first...

I've had my A2500 for a couple of years now and felt it had enough bells and whistles. However, now that I've had a chance to get great use out of it I am ready to upgrade to the version that also has the self-cleaning mode. Standing in front of the A2500 for a full couple minutes to go through the cleaning cycle is a hassle b/c you can't multi-task as you have to keep track of the every 6 seconds cycle.

My first vitamix was the explorian and it was the best kitchen tool I'd ever had. When it was time to replace it, I decided to go big with the Ascent because of the option for the food processor attachment and smaller cups (which, after 3 months of ownership, I haven't pulled the trigger on yet), as well as the three program modes. I'm a pretty serious vegan at-home-chef and most of my kitchen tools get used 2-3 times per day. This machine is very loud. It's more powerful than the explorian but if I had to do it again, I'd just get a new explorian. This one makes me nervous because I live in an old "historic" home and this machine makes my outlets smell like they're burning. But it does the job and does it well!
