I've been using Bounty paper towels for as long as I can remember. Within the last year or so I've seen that you've increase the glue that holds the last paper towel in place. To my frustration I end up having to tear up at least 3 or 4 towels just to get the roll usable. The glue strip is about a half inch wide and put on so heavy that it soaks through at 1 extra layer, or more. We're talking about paper towels here, right? So with that my suggestion/request is to please lighten up on the glue. Less will work fine for the intended purpose of holding down the outside piece and once again a new roll will be easy to open and use.

I've used and sworn by Bounty paper towels almost exclusively my entire adult life. I have recommended them to countless friends and relatives when encountering their sub-par paper towels. However, no longer. The last pack of Bounty Select-A-Size I purchased yesterday remind me of the horrid Bounty Basic paper towels that were rough, thin and absorbed little. I had to go down to the basement to double check that I'd purchased the right product. You've lost a loyal customer. Hope the cheaper production cost makes up for all of us who will no longer be using these.

I like that you can choose the size of the paper towel that you want. It allows for less waste. It sure is one small way to help with the family budget.

I use a larger piece to clean up spilled milk from my son's breakfast. I am no longer wasting paper towels for small jobs, but I have plenty available for larger jobs!

They’re slightly larger than a typical half-size sheet, which gave me enough coverage without wasting extra sheets. The absorption rate is excellent — soaked up the liquid quickly without falling apart. Definitely a reliable product to have on hand for everyday messes and unexpected spills! The first few towels are glued down so firmly that you have to shred them in order to get the roll open. We waste several towels every time we start a new roll. There’s no need to glue down an entire sheet—a dot of glue in the center would do the trick. Is this Bounty’s way of making us buy more of their product? The Bounty towels seem to be stronger than other brands, but if I find a product of comparable strength, I will switch—unless Bounty gets the message and starts using less glue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Bounty paper towels and prefer Bounty to any other paper towel. I am not a fan of the select-a-size. I find that the size is too small and I end up using more sheets than if I were to use the regular sized sheets. I believe this is making the product more expensive because I am using more sheets than I would use with the regular size.
