I like that blue light

Purchased this cooler for garage that does not get above 75 deg. After plugging in unit ran for 2 days. Found top of unit was frozen and thermostat which was set for 34 deg was reading 50 deg. Unplugged unit to allow defrost and tried again. Same thing has been happening for 3 weeks now. Contacted customer service and they said 75 deg was too hot for this unit and it would not work. Said I was out of luck because the owner's manual made it very clear that it would not work at that temp. Kind of hard to read manual for that information until you purchase the item? Anyways, do not waste your money. Sam's should not allow this unit to be sold in stores.

Purchased this over the weekend. Set up Sunday in my finish, un cooled garage. Gets to high 80's during the day Filled with cold soda from another frig. 3 days later temp is 55. Called Tramontina and was rudely told it is designed to be used in air conditioned spaces to get into the 30's. Answer repeated when I advised unit was set to 40 and its at 55 after 3 days. Product and support very sub par for Sams club.

We bought one in Dec 2018 and loved it from day one. There was never any smell that others have mentioned. There were times the temp would suddenly get warmer inside, but then would return to our setting of 34. Recently the unit began making a loud popping noise randomly. I contacted Tramontina and they responded the same day. They said it was not normal and asked for a copy of my receipt and a pic of the label on the back. I sent it and the very next day they had shipped out and I received a new unit! This unit makes no noises and has no smells. I did have to sign a document that I would dispose of the old unit properly due to the refrigerant, which I certainly will be doing.

There is a strong chemical smell inside the fridge that we cannot get rid of. It transfers onto the cans and whenever I take a drink that is all I can smell and taste. I wish this wasnt the case because the unit does cool the beverages nicely and looks nice but we cannot use it bacuse of the smell.

When I load it with beer, it goes to 45° From 32°. I've had to send back 2 units because they wouldn't work. The customer service people for Tramontina, expect you to replace parts on the fridge. Worst fridge ever! What's so hard about having a fridge hold a temperature? FYI the customer service guy's name is Helder Eloy and his email address is heloy@tramontina-usa.com. This is for you to know that I'm not lying and if you have a problem with your fridge, please be sure to let them know! **DONT BUY THIS!**

Bought this on Black Friday and it still smells awful. I have cleaned it multiple times, used baking soda in it, tried letting it air out and it still has an awful chemical smell that will not go away. I am going to try to return it, I do t still have the box but I have the receipt, at this point it's not even usable. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

We paid almost $500 for another brand with glowing reviews in our last house. It was louder and did not achieve or maintain temperature as well. Having read a few of the reviews before buying this time, we were a bit skeptical, but so far this unit has greatly exceeded our expectations. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Terrible smell and taste like burnt plastic on cans and bottles from fridge. Left the door open for a month to see if it would help. Still the same. Fridge is louder than I thought it should be. Cool blue light and holds a lot of beverages and keeps them cold. It's just too bad we can't drink them due to smelly. Would not recommend. Will be bringing back to store.

Gets very cold! Works great!
