We replaced our 13 year old Cloud mattress with had gotten too hard with the LuxeAdapt. It felt luxuriously soft on our pressure points in the store, but we are 2 months in and it is still a bit firm for our liking. In the morning, we sometimes have aching shoulders or hips from sleeping in the same position. It is also a bit warmer than our previous mattress. We like it and will probably keep it, but aren't as thrilled as we thought we would be.

Several mattresses back we had a Cloud Luxe Soft, which we loved, but my wife wanted to have a cooler bed, so we upgraded to a Breeze Soft. Turned out not such a smart move ... while the Breeze Soft was cooler, it was noticeably firmer and did not provide the even-support/pressure-relief that we needed which resulted in poor sleep and achy, grumpy, tired bodies. We have since upgraded (again) to the LuxeAdapt and what a relief!! Even though it is slightly warmer, it provides the even-support/pressure-relief to give an awesome night sleep and happy/healthy bodies ... this is what we had come to expect from Tempur-Pedic. An expensive move but so worth it!

After only sleeping on box spring mattresses my whole life, this LuxeAdapt mattress is probably the best thing to have ever happened to me. Seriously, it feels like sleeping on a cloud and every inch of my back feels really supported and comfortable. I was worried it would feel too hot but I've never felt too hot or too cold and it moderates the temperature fairly well. I was also a little worried that it would be hard to physically get up because it's soft but there have been no issues at all and it is still firm enough that you can be comfortable to move around. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it, and can't recommend it enough!

I shopped for a new mattress at several stores and after laying on dozens of other styles and types I kept coming back to the Tempur-LuxeAdapt firm. I decided to order online and go all the way also ordering the Temur-Ergo 2.0 platform and two Tempur-Cloud Adjustable pillows. Tempur-Pedic even professionally delivered and set up my new bed at no cost. I used to toss and turn during the night and wake with lower back pain on other mattresses. With the Tempur-Pedic I don't toss and turn and I wake feeling well rested in the morning. I never slept on a more comfortable bed. Who knew a mattress could be so life changing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second TempurPedic mattress and we are very happy with the quality and feel of the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Firm mattress. The mattress is very supportive and comfortable. Years of back pain had me searching for a better mattress and TempurPedic was the answer. We ordered directly from the TempurPedic website and was very happy with the customer support we received. All my questions were answered thoroughly via the online chat and on the phone and the sales associate was very friendly and professional. I would like to mention that this mattress is higher than a traditional mattress and will effect the choice of foundation. A 9" traditional foundation with this mattress will be quite high. We opted for a 5" traditional foundation as our bedroom set is more traditional, and the height was just right. We will continue to purchase and recommend these wonderful mattress to our family and friends.

We've been sleeping on our tempurpedic bed 3 weeks now. Worst sleep of our life both my wife and I can't sleep for a full night without waking up on our mattress. Retailer doesn't want to take it back and we find ourselves trying to nap on the kids bed during the day because we hate laying on this mattress at night. Probably the worst purchase of our lives.

Overall, I love the mattress. That being said, there are problems. The mattress does provide support. In my case much needed. It is comforting etc. This mattress does not breath. It retains heat. Both body and otherwise. If you live in the artic, this mattress is for you. Anywhere else??? Forget about it. Also, there is a funny odor that will not go away. Even after weeks of ownership, it remains. It gets into my sheets, pillows, and comforter. That's it. T.

Before purchasing the Luxe Adapt Soft I had the basic Adapt Medium Hybrid. The new mattress is much better for my neck and back. I have had it for a month now and it is taking some time to get used to it because I have always had a firm all my life, which does provide better back support. Due to my age (77), and my being a side sleeper, the sales personnel recommended the soft.

Overall I love this bed. It does seem that I have to be near the middle to not get the feeling I may slide out ( it's a split king. When you raise the head you slide down and you feet dangle over the end ( I'm 5'4). Some kind of pull out at the foot would be nice. Not one backache- the adjustability can make it perfect for your body. Be careful of the pillows : the ones we bought in the store are soft and pliable, the perfect pillow. The ones we got with the online deal with purchase were supposed to be the same but are three times as thick and hard as a rock- must weigh 5 lbs. we called the store and the person that helped us with our bed purchase, went out of her way to see we got two of the ones we love. The split is a mixed blessing. It's wonderful to adjust each side like you want but it opens a crack in the middle and things ( including our small dog) have fallen through. I'd still take it over a bed with one adjustment all the across. No need for a topper on this bed like we had for our cloud lux. This was comfy from day one, doesn't sleep hot either. Almost the perfect bed.
