This year, it was time to buy new tires for my Honda CR-V 2018. I researched a lot and came to the idea that Michelin Defender 2 is the best choice. I bought them and I could not believe how fantastic they are. Defender 2 is very quiet and comfortable on both highways and roads. In addition to comfort which was my first priority, they are excellent at handling and maintaining vehicle stability, even compare to the factory-installed tires which were not Michelin. I realized why Michelin is the number 1 brand trie in the world. As a friendly reminder, tire is the most important part of a vehicle and they must be the best. Spend your money wisely, buy Michelin, and enjoy your everyday ride. I never go with any other brands. I highly recommend Defender 2. Rest assured you will never regret your purchase.

The car came with Primacy Tour A/S tires. The car handled great and had a great ride - fun to drive. These tires are terrible. I made a huge mistake buying them because of my long history of purchasing only Michelin tires. They were the Michelins recommended by a tire dealer I trust. As soon as I drove away with these tires, it was like the car that was so much fun to drive had gone "numb." The dealer tried to fix the issue, but the conclusion seems to be that the Defender tires were a bad match for the car.

I researched tires for my 2018 Nissan Rogue and read good reviews for this tire. I was looking for quiet and a smooth ride. I just drove home from the tire store and am hugely impreased with the ride! I don't know about longevity yet but am looking forward to the future.

Absolutely love these tires, recommended by several Pali owners. Better than the Hancock Better than the Hancock tire that Palisade comes with by default if you can believe that. I'm a Realtor and I cover a large geographic area so I spend countless hours and days driving. The ability to be able to make calls to my customers without all the background noise and a comfortable ride are absolutely paramount! I had just bought a new set of Defender 2 tires and was on a ride to test them out. My previous tire was the OEM Michelin Primacy Tour A/S with approximately 48,000 miles on a 20 Chevy Blazer RS. The ride was very nice, firm but comfortable. I was, so far, impressed with the handling on a damp road and enjoying the new sneaks. As fate would have it, it began raining buckets and this I thought would separate the wheat from the chaff. I was driving in the granny lane, on a limited access highway at the posted speed limit of 65mph.when a brief but sudden loss of control event occurred called Hydro-Planning.. All of a sudden the car hit a fairly large gutter puddle that caused the vehicle to swerve dramatically. It was a frightening 2 or 3 seconds while feeling powerless other than going for the ride. Steering into the hydro-plane, and to my relief, the Defender 2s quickly took hold of the road and straightened me right out. Having put on about 30 miles on the new Defenders, they really showed me what they are capable of, and I am glad to have them. On this rainy day, the Defender 2s performed excellently.

Amazing handling, and my car has never driven so smooth! I did see an immediate drop in MPG approximately 4 mpg due to having more rubber on the ground which explains the go cart like handling. The overall handling and comfort is well worth the small loss in mpg.

These tires are like driving on clouds - everything is smooth, the tires absorb bumps and road imperfections easily, and I can tell they "have the road". In short, I feel very safe with these tires, which is important since my commute to work is 250 miles twice a month. I originally purchased CrossClimate 2 as replacement tires for my 2020 XT5 Sport but was not satisfied with them (wrote a review). I took the car back to my retailer and they swapped them for a new set of Defender 2 no questions asked. Michelin stands by their product and I've had exceptional customer service from both the retailer and Michelin in this process. The commitment to their product and exemplary service is why I will stay a Michelin customer.

I purchased a set of Defender 2 tires for my Ford Flex 10/9/24. The vehicle is AWD and was aligned shortly thereafter. Since purchased these tires, primarily the rear 2, have been extremely loud. The Defenders I previously had on this vechicle never displayed this obnoxious behavior and I was very satisfied with them. Would not consider purchasing these tires again.

After purchasing the Michelin Defender 2 tires for my Lexus ES350, I have decided to get a new set for my RX350 with 245/50R20. The New Defender 2 tires have great handling performance in dry and wet weather conditions, and it also provides very quite and comfortable ride! In addition, it’s great to know that the New Defender tires will last for a very long time. I like the new tires very much and very happy with the choice I made.

I used to have Hankook tires on my Honda Civic. They only lasted about 30k miles I had two sets, the one from new and the replacements. Both lasted only 30k and I drive very conservatively. I noticed that my wifes Acura has Michelin tires and has not worn them out after 100,000 miles. So that is 3X longer than my Hankook tires. So now I have Michelin Defender 2 tires and I like the stiffer ride they provide.
