Not sure where the outstanding ride quality reviews come from. Placed these on a Kia Telluride and the ride quality is noticeably rougher. The vehicle always appears to sway back and forth and you feel every bump.

I had these on my 1998 Grand Marquis, and my 2006 Buick Lucerne, best tires ever. Now I am getting ready to purchase them for my 2023 GMC Acadia. There is not a better tire made in my opinion than Michelan

These tires are absolute garbage in the rain after 3 months. Whatever changed from previous defenders they should go back to. I tried with 90+ percent treadwear to have them warrantied and the credit offered was insulting. I have used defenders for ages but Michelin has lost me as a customer for life. Bas bad as the OE Hankook tires in civics. Never again. Premium price for awful wet performance.

After having great performance and wear from my previous Defender tires I went with the Defender 2 tires this time. The original Defender tires still had another 10,000 miles of summer driving left on them but living here in Montana I need that deep tread depth for the winter. driving conditions here. I'm sure that these Defender 2 will be as good as or better than the original Defender tires.

I bought a set of 4 to replace nearly 6 year old tires that were constantly losing air. I've using them for 3 months. I has one tire replaced due to dry rot and then a couple weeks after that the rest of the set (3) I was so happy how my car drove I bought the Lincoln town car used and these new tires made the car drive so much better like driving on butter I had another Lincoln and it drove the same with Michelin tires the defender 2 are great tires

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife's Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2's. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law's Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family's vehicles. I was looking for a “quiet” tire and Michelin Defender II answered the call. Because of excessive “road noise” I was hearing AFTER I replaced my tires three year ago I thought I needed new rear wheel bearings. Due to the cost, I “road it out” with the last set of tires. Recently I decided to get new tires then replace the bearings. I drove a block on the new Michelin Defender II's and amazingly the “road noise” was gone! I highly recommend Michelin Defender II if your looking for a quiet and dependable tire.

When I drove away from the shop that installed my new Michelins, I was impressed by how quiet my car became. Handling was smooth and easy compared to my old tires. They look great on my car and I'm looking forward to years of comfortable driving on them !!!!
