Nothing Better Than New Tires

We got these 2 seasons ago to replace the tires on our Explorer just before a road trip from BC to Alberta. The tires wear and ride much nicer than the Ford O/E tires. The deep treads were great in heavy rain. After 30,000 they are mostly as new … we change to snow tires for 4-5 months of the year. Ford should use these as their O/E tires …

Best tire for ride and mileage period.

I have used LTX M/S on both of my trucks and have been very pleased with the ride and quality of the tire. I get more mileage out of these tires than any other brand of tires. I have been running these tires for years and will not buy any other tire. Very pleased.

they have lasted over 80k ...

they have lasted over 80k miles and are still on my chevy truck, i know they need replaced before the snow gets here, but they still are working great. my son just got a set for his s10 pick-up truck. Michelin are on all my cars and will continue to be!! they make the car/trucks ride smooth and with good traction in all wet/snow or dry roads

Michelin LTX wear like Iron

I have had these tires on my 1993 suburban, 1999 suburban and my 2005 Duramax Diesel Crew Cab Silverado pickup truck. I wouldn't put anything else on a vehicle like these. When I sold the 93 suburban the tires had 50,000 miles on them and they still looked like new. They wear like iron but give a great ride. You won't be disappointed.

WELL WORTH IT

I did a lot of research on my tires. I wanted quiet but aggressive tires for all road conditions. Discussion with the tire supplier was a choice situation. I have ridden on Michelin tires since the 1970's. Michelin has simply improved all along. I have done all types of driving in the NWT, Yukon and outback BC. Paved, gravel, off road and a side wall rock puncture - replaced The thing that made the choice final was the fact that my truck driver neighbour showed my his Michelins on his truck. He said his Defenders have served him well. I also have 6 Michelin LTX tires on our motor home RV. Great product with a great guarantee.

I had these tires ...

I had these tires installed to replace the original equipment at 31,254 miles. I now have more than 68,500 miles with excellent tread. When they need replacing, I plan to use Michelin tires. I said N/A relating to off road use, since I probably have less than 800 off road miles.

I will always buy Michelin Tires

When I purchased my last vehicle it had realtively new Michelin tires on it. I was so impressed with the durability and wear that when it cam time to replace them I stuck with Michelin's. There are just some things that you have to buy and realize that you get what you pay for, and in my opinion that tires are the biggest safety factor on a vehicle.

Not at all satisfied

Purchase these tire based on past experience with Michelin. Returned the next day with a vibration thought it was bad balancing, the second balancing did nothing complained with no results. A few weeks later went to my dealer and had the tires balanced again but to no avail. Returned to the supplier that I staled them and was told the they had found a problem with some on these tires. Asked for resolution and was told it was complicated. Finally they will replace these defective tires but I will have to pay for the wear on them. This is not rite as I have been complains since day one. No happy about this at all.

I have never had tires last like these!

I am now on my second set of these tires and will buy them again in another 8 years if I still have my RAV4. I had over 86,000 miles on the first set and only replaced them after the combination of extreme dryness, cold and heat in AZ caused the sidewall to crack. Amazingly, there was still quite a bit of tread left on the tires. Expensive, yes, but definitely worth every penny!

Very Unhappy

I purchased 4 Michelin Defender Tires from a local tire dealer on 6/7/17. I drove the vehicle for a few days and noticed a vibration in the steering wheel at 60 mph and higher. I originally thought there was an issue with my vehicle but I was able to have my truck looked at by my local dealership and discovered that the problem wasn't with my vehicle but with the tires themselves. My dealership explained that I had 3 tires which were out of spec during the road force balance. I'm currently awaiting my tires to be replaced but the distributor I purchased them from is dragging their feet on the process. How can 3 out of 4 tires be bad?
