I use these on my 1999 Ford Conversion Van which I use to pull a 3,000 lb trailer. I got about 80.000 miles on the first set and 10.000 so far on the second. Never had a flat, love the traction, can't beat the tread-life. Can't imagine how they could be any better.

Michelin Defender Tires They make great affordable tires, and safety is a must on the mountain in the wintertime. Great performance, smooth riding, quiet tires, very comfortable ride. Installation was a bit pricey,I need 5 new ones on my SUV now. Yes,I recommend these tires.

Have had direct experience with this particular tire since 2006 when they were supplied as original equipment on the Honda Ridgeline. Now as a retired import technician, I can honestly say that I have never seen a problem with these tires under normal driving conditions. With normal tire rotation, tire pressure checks, and correct wheel alignment, I have seen them last well past 130,000 kilometres before reaching the wear markers. They are a great tire for light duty trucks and SUV's. I personally recommended and installed these tires to many customer vehicles with very positive results always. I can say with confidence that my recent set of improved LTX Defenders that I installed on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline have exceeded expectations. They are quiet, have great road feel, and improved grip in slippery conditions.

I had Michelin Defender tires for 2 years. They were awesome! These tires really stuck to the road, and I felt safe even when it rained. They hardly wore out, so I didn't have to buy new ones. It was like having a reliable friend on the road. I'll definitely get them again. Great tires!

I have this tire on a 2000 F350 Superduty with a super cab. Every tire I've had on the front of this truck has been toast by 35,000. Terrible feather on the side treads, just worn out. I have 39,000 on the Defenders and they are in great shape with even treadware all the way across. Only half way.

Been traveling 12 states for 27 years. LTX radials are the only tire for me and my family. When it comes to comfort, handling and overall security your vehicle is only as good as the rubber that meets the road. I have run michelins for the past 15 years and recommend them to all. To some they might seem a little pricey, but I have found that they are well worth the extra expense. I have had very little problems with these tires, a few have separated but overall I am very satisfied with my decision to run michelins.

This tire came standard with my new Ford Econoline van in 2006, and are still serving well at 103,000 miles. I may replace them before winter, but there is still good tread remaining, and the sidewalls look like new! They are quiet, reliable, and good looking.

From the first drive these tires have been very quiet and absorbing the tar strips and bumps in the road. Looking forward to how they perform in the snow. Ratings ask about taks that have not been tested yet, such as safety. I haven't had to do a panic stop or heavy rain.
