Too hard for younger people. My daughter is 10 and the box indicated 8+ though I was skeptical, I should have trusted my gut. Probably better for older teens and adults.

Cute kit and has everything you’d need, but I got lost just a few steps into the video instructions and couldn’t continue. I kept having to rewatch just the first few steps to understand those, but then they sped up and I was hopelessly lost for good! That turned this kit into a waste of money for me.

I just made the first cactus. If I weren't an experienced crocheter, I would have given up. The yarn is nice and soft and synthetic though the box doesn't identify it in any way just as yarn. The plastic needle is useless in amigurumi. The hook is pretty nice...metal with a cushioned handle. I appreciate the needle threader. There are no written instructions. The guide is a URL code to be scanned which takes the crocheter to a webpage with instructional videos that you can view there or follow the link to view on YouTube. The video I just finished is garbage. An experienced crocheter, like me, will get it; a beginner would be lost. Standard crochet terms aren't used or used incorrectly. My little potted cactus turned out cute because I used my skills to fill in the blanks and improve on what the video offered. My frustration level is starting to settle down now. 😆

There are no written instructions. There are only the videos. And watching the videos, the final product they make looks rough, like the instructor themselves was a beginner. They also have you chain 1 between rounds (not normal). The yarn is soft and the hook is good. If you're a beginner trying to use this kit to learn, I'd look elsewhere (like woobles). If you just want to have all the yarn picked out for you and whatnot, then this kit is fine.

the instructions are videos... the videos are inconsistent and not correct. Just do a magic circle with most of it and call it a day... on sale its not terrible but dont waste your time if you've never crochet before. not a beginner's prioject because you will meed to know how to write the actual pattern... cant believe someone allowed those videos to be posted....

the photos on the box are super cute and the materials are good quality. there are bo printed instructions. the video links are available, however whoever recorded the video is TERRIBLE! The pace is very slow, but he also doesn't have a finished product that matches the kit. He has large holes in his work. i am an expereinced crocheter and am extremely frustrated trying to follow the video.

Shame on Sam's for selling this trash. No written instructions. Terrible video and terrible product website with absolutely no working links. Yarn is soft and bundled well. If you lose the paper with the QR code, it's a useless bundle of yarn.

I am a beginner and was looking forward to doing this project. when I retired. I just opened the box and there are no instructions. there is a code QR code but it takes me to a GoDaddy site to see if I want to buy that domain. it does not take me to a link with any videos and their website also does not work. I should have read the reviews before purchasing this item. I will look on YouTube and see if I can find a video with instructions, but I don't feel hopeful due to all of the poor reviews. very disappointed
