Read the reviews. But still picked this model. At first pod coffee maker didnt work. Used google. Just need to wiggle rubber push inside pod. Light popped on it functions as expected. The carafe makes great coffee. Hot and stays hot for hours. I recommend this Cusinart dual coffee maker.

Coffee center works well and we like the option of single serving and pot size. The tall size makes it difficult to make a pot if you keep it under the cabinet. You can remove the single side water reservoir to fill but have to pull the whole unit to raise the lid and fill the pot side due to separate water reservoirs. Overall it works great.

We received this as a Christmas present and so far are really enjoying it. We love the versatility of being able to do individual servings of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea easily and that you can have different brew sizes (4,6, 8, or 10 ounces) AND that you can also brew a full pot with up to 12 cups if younhave a crowd...not to mention the flavor of the coffee seems enhanced. Perhaps because of the internal filtration. We have not tried the iced coffee options yet but are loving it so far!

Bad Design or bad luck?

Two units have failed. The first started leaking water after the second usage from the pod water storage tank. The water came from under the coffee maker. Confirmed by emptying the storage tank, the seals were good. The second unit worked for 5 days making one cup from the pod side and brewing a full carafe. Then a half carafe coffee went to a hard boil and the pod water storage leaked out of the bottom of the unit. Design problem, manufacturing problem, or both? I have had good luck with Cuisinart coffee makers for years. And this was a gift.

Pour design

When you pot it drips down a when you lift lid to add water the condensation off lid run down on counter. Poor design. When I called company the answer was no one else has complained. I said this day an age people probably just go buy another. I'm a two pot a day.

Great way to go, and not much bigger.

Most importantly, the coffee tastes terrific! It's compact enough to fit under cabinets, and still use the single side without moving the unit. When it has to be moved to make a pot, it slides easily. The buttons are simple to use and make sense. The 12oz option on the single cup is nice, and it brews quickly. Great coffee maker. Second most important, my wife likes the looks of it.

Great physical design with some mechanical flaws.

This coffee maker has the perfect space saver footprint, combing the full pot with the K-cup in one unit. This is the 3rd time I bought this unit because of the footprint, however the mechanical workmanship could be better. One of the units stopped pumping water to the single serve after a few months so we could only use the full pot. The 2nd unit would stop brewing mid cycle and I would have to push the brew button again to restart it. Also, the Single serve would not stop pumping water after the brew cycle should have been finished. The third unit's single serve failed out of the box, but I was able to discover a switch just behind where the pod is inserted that was stuck. I freed it up and everything seems to be working 2 weeks in.
