[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because the dual use Keurig was not available. Had to get a different brand. I still wanted a dual use machine, and this was the only one they had. There are several things I do not like about it. There are 2 tanks, the main tank is not removable, but the single serve tank is. The carafe is unable to pour a cup of coffee without it running down the side of the pot onto the counter. This is very annoying. You can't just turn on the pot heater without going through the brew cycle. I also don't like the filter choice that was used for the carafe brew. However, it does make a pretty good cup of coffee. It would be nice to be able to change the brew strength of the single serve cups.

The machine itself works well, biggest limitation is size of the water tank for single serve coffee. We only get two 10oz cups before we have to refill the tank. Wish there was only one water tank for both single serve and carafe, and would have chose differently if I had realized how often I would have to refill water.

This was my third Cuisinart 2 in 1 model. My original model lasted for about 2 years & I loved it. Unfortunately the pod side stopped working & I picked up a new one. Unfortunately that one only lasted less than two months before it started leaking from the bottom then I purchased a new one & that started to leak the second time I used it. So disappointed in their quality. From what I read online it seems like leaking is a known issue, this is a problem, someone even wrote that a part was put it upside down? (oh I even tried to just rationalize it and say it must’ve just been because it was an older model, but it wasn’t.) Totally disappointed and frustrated - finally gave up and bought a Keurig. It’s been about three months with no issues. Unfortunately it only does K cups and I really liked being able to make a pot of coffee when we had company. Cuisinart get it together & maybe in a couple years, I’ll try again.

There's much to like and on balance we're very happy with the maker. Could be better with a differently designed means of filling the coffee maker's reservoir as the filter holder is in the way when pouring to fill. Also, the ability to brew a pot and simultaneously make a K-cup while brewing would be great.

Overall this is a great coffee maker and I do like it and would recommend. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that on the pod side the water reservoir is pretty small and you have to add water after just a few uses (and I normally use the 6oz-8oz cup sizes).

This coffee maker is really nice looking. It looks just like it should . State of the art. The coffee it makes is wonderful. I have had other makers before, however the coffee never tasted as good as what my beautiful Cuisinart brews. I had a Keurig before, while it did brew the pods a little faster the flavor was no where near my Cuisinart. And yes I used the same coffee brand. In my opinion you can't beat this Cuisinart.

This coffee maker is a good idea but doesn't perform well. The coffee brewed is not hot enough regardless of whether it is a pod or carafe. When I make a cup from a pod or pour from the carafe, I have to warm the cup in the microwave for 30 seconds to get a suitably warm cup of coffee. I even pre-warm my coffee cup.

I was so extremely disappointed with this product. It had everything I was looking for but the POD button didn’t work. I had exchanged this BRAND NEW machine 3 different times and every single one the POD button was nonfunctional. I called customer service multiple times to try and get it to work. The customer service representatives that I had spoken to were wonderful and helpful but despite all the trouble shooting they walked me thru we could never get the machine to work . Highly disappointed

The pod feature did not work when we opened the box for the first time. After consulting customer service, the agent gave us a solution that worked. I would not have been able to solve this problem without her help. There is a tiny reset button that was jammed. After resolving that, the coffee maker has been very good. Although the reservoir in the back is handy for the one cup feature, it needs to be refilled often. Also, I would prefer to dump in the amount I need for the cup I’m using rather than be limited to 4,6,8, or 12 oz. cup. This often does not fill my mug.

I have been waiting to write my review because of a small issue. I wanted to see if it was a fluke. I bought my 2 in 1 coffee maker one month ago. I absolutely love the look of it, and how quickly it brews! Also love how hot the coffee is! My one concern is when we brew on the auto setting, once the coffee brews the clean light goes on, so the coffee in the pot doesn’t stay hot. Trying to troubleshoot this weekend. Hopefully it’s an easy fix!
