This SS-16Coffee Center is a replacement for an older Coffee Center that we used for several years; an SS-15. There are several improvements in the SS-16. The controls are more intuitive and easier to use. The single serve side has a larger water reservoir and it has a coffee cup flip open stand when making coffee. The flip open stand can closed to be used for tall tumblers. The orientation of the single serve component has been switched to the left side of the machine. This makes the Coffee Center easier to fill and access to the carafe for right-handed users. Good upgrade to the older model.

The machine is great, if you can find one that works. The pod side didn't work on the first two machines I got, so I had to return them for a new one. Thankfully the third time was a charm. Don't throw out that box when you get it, and definitely check the pod side first!

Great coffee maker, both options pod and carafe are functional at the same time so if I have a full pot brewing someone else can do a pod of a specialty coffee if desired, auto start is also a good option, size is perfect because it slides under the upper cabinets and it doesn’t take lot of space.

So far, very satisfied with this coffee maker. Of course, time will how long it will last, but we had the previous k-cup/12 cup Cuisinart and it’s still works great. We wanted this new design, so we bought it and put the previous one aside as a spare.

I purchased this to replace the same type that was old but still working. I love the option of either making a full pot or one cup. The coffee pot works well and delivers hot coffee. However the Kurig side leaks, you cannot keep water in the reservoir because it leaks. You need to make one cup and then dispose of the water. I threw away all the boxes or I would have returned it. Very disappointed.

Highly recommend this coffee maker, beautiful as well as functional, offers single and carafe options for brewing for one or a crowd. Also added the option or using grounds or pods for single cup which is a huge plus! Has all the perks of a drip coffee maker with the ability to set a timer to have ur coffee automatically brew in the morning or the convenience of single cup on the go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes perfect pod and pot coffee. My only deduct is for the non-intuitive controls. The cup size selector should have a dial with specific size detents and clicks. I only make 10oz coffee. So why should I need to press the selector to switch out of the default 8 oz into 10oz. Add a dial with various oz settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I bought the black one, received white one. It is bigger than I expected and the single serve side has a different kind of screen than I’m not use to. It does take regular k cups. It does have options for amount of single serve ounces and also 3 settings for carafe heat control. Overall it works fine just not crazy about design and having to pour the water in for each pot of coffee.

The single pod side of the coffee maker does not work right out of the box. I had to go digging on the internet to find the hack to get it to work. In fact, I returned the first one I bought since I thought it was broken. I’m not sure how this can happen with a brand like Cuisinart.

This is a great coffeemaker. It is very versatile and has many features. You are able to use pods or the included holder to make one cup at a time. You can make hot or iced beverages either a cup at a time or a whole pot. I like the fact that I can set it up the night before and when I wake up there is a hot pot of coffee waiting for me.
