I'm not a big fan of the carafe. The lid is very temperamental and has to be positioned just right on it.

I had the old model, but couldn’t find it to purchase. This one seems to brew more slowly and the white shows all splatters.

Single cup works great. Make sure the main carafe is seated securely on its tray or the coffee grounds and water will flood.

This is the second 2-in-1 coffee maker we have owned. They last for a very long time. We upgraded. Our daughter is now using our previous one.

It is very nice coffee pot except the pot itself should be made different when pouring water into the coffee maker the water goes everywhere.
