I love Cuisnart coffee maker- it replaces 2 items on my counter. I had a coffee maker that seem to take long time to brew even after cleaning and a one cup tea maker. The start up instructions were unclear, but after (my daughter figured it out) it is simple to run and quick to fill. I love the single cup for both coffee and hot water for tea. Haven't use the carafe much but will for family gatherings. Cuisnart is a brand I trust for longevity and quality as I have a food processor and double sided waffle maker that are great also. We love this coffee maker except we’re on our 3rd one in 2 years! One had a heating element that melted the plastic around it. Another had an internal heating element that would evaporate 1/4th of the water you would put in . They were both replaced with warranty . Bottom line it makes great coffee and is easy to use but it doesn’t seem to be made for long term use. If this one breaks we’re going to another brand.

We bought my husband the Cuisinart coffee center that makes single cups with pods, a carafe full and iced coffee. We have been so please with this purchase. It is very elegant looking and was such a reasonable price. We are very happy with the purchase. If I have one criticism, it is that the clock is only lit when coffee is brewing. It would be nice it the clock would always be lit if plugged in. Just for the ability to see the time if needed. Great buy.

I purchased this with high expectations, as I have always enjoyed my Cuisinart appliances. Unfortunately, this 2-in-1 coffeemaker didn’t live up to my expectations. I purchased this especially for the single pod feature, to replace my old Keurig and separate carafe coffeemaker. I saw the pod feature and the picture on the box showed a setting for strong coffee, so I assumed I could set both features that way. I was wrong, only making a carafe has the strong setting. I brewed my favorite bold coffee pod, and it was very weak. I even tried switching it off mid brew to let it soak momentarily and the back on…no help. This was an impulse buy. I should have done my research first. I never tried making a regular pot of coffee or used the Ice Coffee feature, which I would guess would be fine. So I did return this to my big box store and got a competitor’s product with the same features. It was actually had a rich flavor feature and was cheaper. Sorry Cuisinart.

Great coffee maker. I like my coffee strong and flavorful. This machine does that. The filter basket is large enough to hold the amount of ground coffee to do that. My wife likes hers strong, but not as strong as mine, so we are able to use the single cup station to make her cup separately. Very handy. It’s a very versatile machine and we are enjoying it every day.

So far a great coffee maker - both the carafe and K-Cup functions work great. it might leak when filling carafe reservoir for overnight storage, we had water on heater plate when started the brew process the next morning, but as I write this I realize I might have spilled a little water while filing the reservoir - Haven't trouble shoot the problem yet, if it is a problem.

This is my 2nd Cuisinart coffeemaker as I bought one for our summer house and I loved it so much I bought one for my other house. It’s wonderful to be able to make one individual cup or when I have guests I can make a whole pot of coffee. I am pleased with Cuisinart products as I have a countertop oven/air fryer too. Thanks

I love this coffee maker. First, we have black stainless steel appliances in our kitchen. It is difficult to find kitchen appliances that match, and this black stainless steel Cuisinart Duo Coffee maker is a perfect match. I have had a few Kuerig coffee makers over the past few years, 2 of which have since broken. I don’t expect an appliance to last forever, but when 2 of these quit working, I decided to search for something else. That is when I came across this Cuisinart coffee maker. The coffee maker comes with 2 types of brewing choices in a single unit. There is a traditional brewing side, with a 12 cup carafe for making larger quantities of coffee, and a pod side for single serve coffee. Each side has its own water dispenser, which I like. For the brewing side, you place the amount of water for how many cups you would like to brew into the water reservoir and it will brew exactly that amount. Each side also contains a holder to place a charcoal filter in to purify the water. Two filters are included with the coffee maker when you purchase it. There are several features on this maker that I absolutely love. The brewing side can be set to automatic brew, so you can have a pot of coffee waiting for you at whatever time of day you choose. It comes with a mesh perma-filter, or you can choose to use disposable paper filters instead. It also features (and this is my very favorite), a “bold” button for brewing extra strong coffee. You can also choose to brew your coffee over ice, to make a delicious cold drink. With the first cup of coffee I made with this machine, I used the pod side, and it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had in years. Of course, I set the timer for the brewing side for the next morning, so I could check it out. It surpassed my expectations. The coffee maker was quiet, so I was not even sure it had made the coffee, until the exquisite aroma reached the bedroom. I was in coffee paradise. The pod side also has some excellent features. The coffee maker can accommodate several sizes of cups and travel mugs. For single cups or small travel mugs, there is a flip down cup holder that fits the short sizes perfectly. For an average tumbler, you just put your tumbler on the bottom base to brew. For tall travel mugs, the bottom tray lid can be removed to fit the larger tumblers. You can select 4,6,8,10, or 12 oz. brewing capacities. This is a great, versatile feature. The single serve water reservoir holds up to 42 oz. of water and has a convenient handle to allow easy removal/replacement. This coffee maker is sleek, compact, lightweight, extremely functional, and brews excellent coffee. I could not ask for more. It has features I did not even know I wanted until I had them. I am so very happy with my coffee maker, I have already recommended it to a friend.

Cuisinart makes the best coffee makers. I replaced my old Cuisinart after nearly 20 years. It was still working but I wanted to upgrade to the 2 in 1 model with single serve/carafe options. Its sleek design blended perfectly with my new stainless steel major appliances. And it makes great hot coffee. Would definitely recommend

I had a Hamilton Beach combo K-cup, carafe coffee maker and it made a mess with each K Cup and took forever to brew. My new Cuisinart combo coffee maker solved my problem of messes and is super fast. I love how hot the coffee in the carafe stays and the whole unit is smaller than my other one. It was a great purchase for me!
