As a Chicagoan that has relocated to Georgia, I was delighted and skeptical to learn that Garretts pre-packaged popcorn for Sam’s Club. Instinctively, I felt that the recipe was going to be altered for shelf life purposes. That is exactly what I experienced. It was like eating a skim milk version of what I had come to know and love. The cheese is less cheesy and the caramel is less sweet. It will do in a pinch, but doesn’t hold a candle to the in-store and shipped versions. It’s a 5 out of 10 for me. Also, the bags are made of a terribly thin Mylar material that tears the entire bag open and falls apart in your hands. Lastly, the 50/50 mix is more like 30% Cheese and 70% Caramel. It has an awful balance. That’s all for me.

My bag did not include a good balance of cheddar and caramel. Plus, it tasted rather chalky because of the abundance of cheddar kernels. I mistakenly was ready to taste fresh Garrett’s Chicago Mix and forgot this was sitting in a bag on a shelf, hence not fresh. Overall I’ll give it 3 stars.

Definitely not the taste of the original Chicago popcorn. . Mainly cheese popcorn and a sprinkle of caramel corn. Such a disappointment 🥴😞

OMGOODNESS, i have been craving this popcorn forever so when i found out Sam's Club had it, i had to get it and its still GOOD

I was excited to see our favorite popcorn available to buy! My family ate it up quickly so I went to get more and it was already sold out. Please bring it back.

This is the best popcorn ever! I hope Sam's continues to sell it. You can only get it in Chicago otherwise. I bought 3 bags to share, but ended up keeping it all for myself!

Just as good as I remember the Garrett popcorn mix. Its been years sense the last time I had some. I had a friend that would fly to Chicago and when she would come back she would bring me a tin.

Pretty GOOD POPCORN, But Not as Good as the Fresh Stuff! As far as Bagged Popcorn goes, I think the Creators Brand is about just as Good! A Bigger Bag And A Lot Cheaper! Garrett’s bought Fresh is the BEST though!!
