Bought four cabinets total - three 48" and one 36". These are fabulous. Took about 1-1.5 hours to put each one together (easier after you do the first). Only a few pieces had imperfections but nothing I couldn't work around. Everything is well packaged and the directions are easy to follow. Putting on the feet were the hardest part. We are very pleased with these after we tried other cabinets from another retailer that were awful. Highly recommend.

I have purchased multiple of these including the 2,3, and 4 foot wide units. They are sturdy and I purchased casters for the ones that didn't come with them. The 2 foot has casters. I also added a closet wire shelf at the middle joint of each. These were available at a local lumber yard like Lowe's. That kept the added price down on the shelves. Not to bad to assemble but it would help to have an extra set of hands. The locks are pretty simple but does keep doors closed. All in all these are great units for a in home pantry or garage storage. Great price and good quality.

Bought two of these cabinets, both came with damaged parts. 1 four of the fourteen parts damaged the other 7 of the fourteen parts. Waited three weeks for them to tell me that all parts were on back order with no delivery date in the future. Don't Buy!

I bought the mega cabinet in an effort to clean up the clutter of open shelves in my garage... I only bought one to make sure it's what I needed, and to make sure of the quality... Construction: Well, it's a thin steel storage cabinet. Not much different than those in offices, except these have shiny front doors. I think the old office cabinets are probably better built. Either way, I'm sure that with all the screws and brackets, this will hold up relatively well, just don't plan on moving it too much. I am playing with the piano hinge and leveling feet to square up the frame, and I even used a square to make sure it truly was in square. I can't get the doors to line up... Cosmetic: Hmm... they send out two large trash bags worth of foam and plastic wrap... However, I still had several side, bottom, top and door dents, creases and dings.. VERY FRUSTRATING after I put all this effort into putting it together... I guess I'd consider buying another just so I'd have matching sets... however I'm kind of wishing I would have taken advantage of the huge blowout sale I saw for Gladiator storage cabinets for just $30 more, when they're normally $449. So, I guess my overall review is that its a $300 storage cabinet... you get what you pay for, and this is why others cost more. See if you can find some old office storage cabinets, you'll probably get better quality. I'd recommend for the price, but not the overall product with the amount of damage. These cabinets were on sale on Black Friday, so I ordered 4 of them and they were shipped direct to me from the importer in California. All four of the cabinets had manufacturing defects (not shipping damage)! I returned them to my local store and got four from the store...and all four of them were perfect.

Iliked this large storage cabinet so much I bought another one, and also a slightly smaller one from Sam's Club made by the same company! The value for price, quality and construction was excellant. My wife and I put each cabinet together in about an hour and a half but we are both in our 70's and don't move as fast as we used to. I did buy casters from the same company, but they were rather expensive but very useful. I'd definitely suggest that this item be considered if you need storage in a garage or workshop!

So yes, it feels really flimsy putting this together. But you also get what you pay for. 1. If your doors are not lining up, you need to level out your bottom and make sure the cabinet is square. If the base is not square and level, your doors will be off. 2. I have put about 600lbs of car parts and tools in it, and it's holding fine. I did my heavier loads on the center shelf and the bottom shelf. 4 CV axles, 3 alternators, 2 starters, an AC compressor, and a water pump all on the center shelf and holding just fine. You want higher quality you will need to go NewAge Pro Series and you will definitely see a price difference.

I was shopping around for a large storage cabinet that would support my several hobbies.. I settled on this one partly because I bought a Seville Classics 6ft workbench a few years back and could not be happier with it.. the other reason is that the other options I looked at were just flimsy in design.. Yes it's true, the metal on this is pretty thin but I would give the engineers who designed it an A+.. once it goes together it is very strong. Make sure when you are putting the back on that the boxes go to the inside, once you bolt them all together this is where the cabinet really gets it's strength from.. I chuckled to myself several times while putting this together that maybe I had made the wrong choice but once I got it together and loaded up, I could not be more pleased. The person who came up with the packing for this thing is an artist and puzzle master.. I bought mine from the store (Sam's) and there was absolutely no damage.. I can understand for those that had damage from shipping why that could happen, it's a large 125+ box and what poor delivery guy wants to deal with that.. However it is packed insanely well, I just hope you have styro recycling near you.. The locking mechanism is just standard.. It's definitely not a security cabinet or gun safe for that matter and it's exactly what I expected.. to keep small hands from getting into your stuff, not a seasoned burglar from accessing it if he wanted to.. I do not have this in a garage, it's upstairs in a bedroom I use as my office and workspace so getting upstairs it consisted of unpacking and hauling the very many pieces upstairs. I am only giving it four stars because there are somethings that weren't great, like the instructions.. My 50 year old eyes had to strain to make out the detail and had to pull out a magnifying glass once or twice.. Other than that, I had ALL the pieces included, no missing screws whatsoever, they even pack a magnetic tip screwdriver and a wrench for assembly. If you're looking for a well engineered, handsome addition to your garage or even your office, look no further.. I will be adding some wall cabinets from this company in the very near future.. Also, there is plenty of room inside.. it comes with three shelves and you can purchase additional from Seville Classics for about $25 at the time of this writing.. I considered getting the wheels too but that is one disappointment, they are sold in sets of two for $25 per set. I didn't feel investing another $50 into this was worth it, it's a large enough box that I don't feel it warrants them.. if I had put it in the garage then maybe.. but expensive for wheels..

I've had one of these cabinets in the garage for several years full of stuff (some heave stuff) and buying another for the basement. This unit is very solid and stable if you set it up correctly and secure it with the anti-tip bracket. Anyone complaining that it is not sturdy didn't set it up correctly.
