[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, honestly, none of the men in my family were interested in trying this new product, Old Spice Wilderness with Lavender antiperspirant & deodorant that I recently received free for my review of it. And one member has used Old Spice for decades. So, since reading a few reviews of women who like it, I decided to try it. Especially since the scent is pleasant and not overpowering. It reminds me of lavender sachets kept in a closet or clothes drawer. And it vaguely reminds me of the outdoors like the woods. It is a subtle scent and slightly masculine to my nose. But I can see women using this as well, because of the lavender scent. I found it to be very effective at controlling both underarm odor and perspiration. I recommend this to anyone who likes a clean, fresh, outdoorsy, lavender scent. Its really nice. Thanks for the sample product. Old Spice and Shopper Army.

I wasn't sure about lavender in a men's product but it actually smells great and not womanly at all. I always did like the Old Spice brand and I think it's a good thing that they put out new scents in their product line.

I did not continue to use it due my personal issue of applying on irritated skin. I gave it to my father and her loved it! He loved the scent and it did not bother his skin at all. Overall, it smells great and doesn't irritate sensitive skin. I wouldn't apply it to skin that's already agitated.

When my husband first used the deodorant, I could smell the lavendar across the living room. While the deodorant smells good, it is extremely strong. My husband reported that the Old Spice Wilderness with Lavender Deodorant went on smoothly. The deodorant also left his underarms fresh and dry.
