Aluminum and natural deodorants worked in the cooler months, but with summer here using an antiperspirant is a must. It continued to work for my boyfriend even while at his very physical job or spending time outdoors in the heat and sun. And we both love the smell! The scent is strong, but a good scent that could be unisex and isn't overpowering. It can last a full day after application in the morning, which is something I can't get out of even the best "aluminum-free" standard deodorants. This antiperspirant is strong and ideal! It's old spice so to me it's more of a men's deodorant so I gave it to my boyfriend to test and wear an I have to say I really like it. I think they changed a lot of their scents up over the year's. It use to be mainly a warmer scent drawn to older men .Now they have a variety of scents and the deep sea with ocean elements is more of a fresh scent with a hint of warmness to it just mixes really well together .He said it last long lasting this one does contain aluminum but they do have ones that don't contain aluminum .
