I ended up buying this fan over the cheaper one available in store and I really like this fan. It is quiet, has nine levels and a controller if that’s your thing. I usually just set it and put the timer on, as needed. I’d purchase again, if I needed another.

This is a great fan. It is powerful (9 speeds). One great feature is the lights on the control panel dim all the way to off. There is a lever that can direct the air flow higher or lower. I bought this same brand several years back and it also worked great (still works). However, the new unit has made many improvements. I recommend this fan.

This a GREAT and POWERFUL Tower Fan with Remote!!! The fan is super quiet, even at the highest setting! The remote is intuitive and easy to use! The Digital Touch controls are also intuitive and easy to use. The fan's timer feature was great to use at bedtime! The onboard Remote Control Storage and the built-in Integrated fan carrying handle, is a nice touch. This fan was placed in the master bedroom to test its effectiveness when not using the room's Air Conditioner. On a few days when temperatures reached in the 80's, the high velocity fan with it's 45 degree oscillation and direction louver features are very effective! The wide range oscillation helps cool a larger area as compared to other fans used prior. This fan truly gives you a "pleasant cool breeze"!!! There was no need to supplement with the room's air conditioning. Lastly, the "Blue Plug" safety feature gives you peace of mind when the fan is operating and you not nearby and / or sleeping.

Nice Powerful Fan! This fan is strong and quiet. It has a powerful airflow at the highest setting of 9 without increasing the noise level too much. I am able to feel the breeze 50 feet away as claimed by the manufacturer. I personally like the sound of fans as long as it doesn’t make any squeaking noises. The best features on this fan are it comes with a remote control, it has a built in carrying handle, 9 different fan speeds to select from, an oscillating on/off feature and you can select a timer to turn your fan off up to 9 hours. Not so great features are the directional louvers and it only has a 45 degree oscillation, I just wished the louvers went lower and the oscillation went further but it’s not a deal breaker, works well if placed in a corner. I really like the built-in carrying handle, it’s conveniently placed on top, easy to grab and move. This fan seems very well built and I hope it will last a lot longer than the two year warranty.

This is my 2nd Lasko fan, and definitely my favorite. It is slightly louder because it pushes a lot more air through. But the velocity and how you can still direct the airflow makes it wonderful. It has a velour at the top to adjust if you want it to blow higher or lower. Most other fans don’t have this. It has a lot of speeds to adjust the airflow, timer function, and a remote. All in all, great unit.

This is a powerful quiet fan (louder on higher speeds obviously) with 9 speeds. Those of us going through menopause, this is a great fan. I love the different speeds and the remote control. We have central air, but this helps circulate the air and those times when “hot flashes” appear.

This fan is amazing! Very quiet yet lots of air movement. The color is very sleek and very easy to set up and use. We had it out of the box and ready to go in minutes. We like to sleep with air movement at night so we have it in our bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised that for this price point it was very quiet. We could barely notice that it was even on.

This fan is a good fan. It has a lot of different settings to choose from and the remote is very convenient. I will say that it advertises it to be "library quiet" but you better have it down on a very low setting for that. I think it is very loud when you get up on the higher settings. I am also a bit disappointed in the reach of the fan.

This fan blows air well. It is a good thing to have 9 different speeds ranging from Hurricane force (9) to gentle breeze (1). We keep it on 3, osculating. This moves air nicely in our kitchen/dining room. The remote control is a nice touch if you locate it in a bedroom.

This is my third lasko high velocity fan. I loved the first two, but this newest version is not as strong. It is however quieter than the previous ones, but definitely not as strong!
