We bought the Classic 280i a month ago to replace a 10 year old 200 series which had finally given up. We are very happy with the new one, but don't really need the odor filter nor any of the remote apps or controls. We simply turn it on and let it run. Thankfully it also takes the less expensive regular filters and that's what we'll continue using.

I bought this for our open living room/dining room/kitchen area (600 sq ft) a couple weeks after buying a Blueair Blue Pure 411 for our bedroom. The air in the house smells fresher and my nose isn't as stuffy as it used to be even now with allergy season setting in. We don't have an outside vent fan over our stove so, this makes a big difference when cooking with oil - the house doesn't smoke up like it used to and there aren't lingering cooking odors. The sensors have helped me realize how much particulate and VOC cooking generates but, I don't think it's a must have long term. WiFi control through my phone is a nice extra feature for convenience. I think I'll buy a Classic 205 soon for our mudroom/sunroom that is connected to the other side of our kitchen. This product is extremely well built especially when compared to many other cheaply made consumer products.

Our second unit for our home. We have 2 dogs, need I say more? Really makes a huge difference in air quality. My son and I also have Asthma wouldn't be without. Quality, ease of use, easy single filter replacement.

I am a massage therapist and bought this to add increased protection in my space during the pandemic. The fan provides a bit of white noise that blocks and outside noise and keeps the room noticeably cooler but in a good way. It's overall cleaning and purifying effects are very palpable, the air in the room just feels better, clearer, fresher. I have had clients mention how good it feels in the space without knowing I put an air purifier in the room. It's easy to use, move around, and attractive looking for its size.

Bought this during the Coronavirus pandemic, since we have a first responder family member at home. After he comes back from the frontline, the purifier not only get fresh air for him, but also protest our family.

Quality remains the same. Clean room air without fan noise. Long 6 month filter life. This is our third Blueair. Our 601 is now 14 years old, and our 215 B is 12 years old. Both the Blueair 601 and 215 B are running like new. Quality pays in the long run!

I bought two for my small cottage in N. California. I have cats (dander) a fireplace (smoke) and live by a creek under the redwoods (mold). Wow. After the first night running both units, I woke up WITHOUT a stuffy nose, and no sneezing! And happy I upgraded and bought the units with the PM display! This thing is so sensitive that when on "auto" mode, it will kick in when I light scented candles or if my smoker friend walks by it after having a cigarette outside. Makes you really aware of toxins in your air.

After much review we chose BlueAir based on a combination of a Canadian consumer report and a PhD presentation comparing air purifiers. It was easy to set up and we could feel/smell the difference in two days. After a few weeks we decided to get one for each floor in our home. Not only do we breathe better but our guests can no longer smell 'dog' in our house.

This air filter is a miracle worker! We have a problem of neighboring cigarette smoke and very strong cooking odors coming in thorugh shared walls and running this machine eliminated the issue! I even tried a competing air filter and it failed compared to Blueair. I've bought four of these now, for bedrooms, livingn room and the original offensive mud room with shared walls. In addition, we have very polluted air quality where I live - from pollens to factories and again, this air filter really cleans up our air! Thank you Blueair!

We bought two of them, one for each room. It removes the bad smell that the apartment had (as long as it's running). I did try turning it off and the bad apartment came back, so I leave it on at all times. When I popped a bag of popcorn it automatically turned on high and filtered out the smoke. Overall I'm quite happy with it so far.
