Exactly what I expected!

I purchased a new 2012 Silverado which had another brand tire. The original tires road extremely rough so within two weeks I purchased what I always use, Michelin Tires. These new Michelin tires are great. The ride, traction and overall performance in the best. They may cost a little more but you get what you pay for.

The new LTX MS/2 tires ...

The new LTX MS/2 tires proved to be a significant upgrade for my Lexus RX300. Road noise is loader than touring tires I could have chosen, but good traction in on and off road conditions was important for my driving. Very pleased with the results. I would purchase these tires again.

Great Tires LTX m/s2

I owned a set of Michelin Tire before I purchased these LTX M/S2 tires that lasted me 90000 miles. I have never had a set of tires last that long and stay in great shape. After I purchased these new tires I can really tell they are quality tires. I am hoping to get another 90000 out of these, and feel confident that they will last that long. I have had other brands in the past, and I have family members that stick by their tires that are not Michelin. Though, I don't know anyone that has had tires last as long and in good shape that were not Michelin. They did cost more than the other tires I could have purchased, but the quality and length of time of the tires will actually be about the same price in the long run if not cheaper. I would recommend Michelin tires to anyone that asked me for my opinion of what to get.

Buy this tire.

This is the greatest tire I have ever owned, and I'm 72 years old. I drive a 2009 Dodge pickup and have driven 64,000 miles on these tires with no issues. Most of my milage is freeway, but I am often off road. Even performs on Rock, but not as good in mud. But on the street, in rain or snow, it is amazing. Also extremely comfortable.

LTX M/S 2 and my Chevy Avalanche

We tow our Avalanche behind our Prevost Motorcoach. On the way to South Texas to spend the winter, we had a blow-out on our OEM tires shreading the 2 rear tires to pieces. I had done some research into Michelin tires, but had not yet picked out which "model" of Michelin tire to purchase. At the recomendation of the tire store, I went with the LTX M/S2 tire. Our vehicle is on the highway about 70% of the time. I wanted a tire that was excellent for highway usage and had a good warranty. 5 year later we are still very happy with our choice. This is a quiet tire. I highly recommend the Michelin LTX M/S2 tire.

Excellent Tire!

Good riding, long-lasting tire. The exterior allows for black-wall or raised white letters (which I prefer) because it gives nice clean look to my vehicle. I have always gotten 40K+ miles while with other brand tires, usually around 36K. My last 5 sets of tires have been Micheln LTX M/S (3 sets) and Micheln LTX M/S2 (2 sets) They are quality tires and worth the extra in price. My only complaint would be the road noise on certain types of pavement. Other brands I have used don't even compare! With these tires I usually get 1-2 mpg better gas mileage. They are good on high-speed open highways as well as off road.

excellent tire for my 2010 f-150 fx4

reviewed and reviewed until i finally made my decision, glad i did. have about 500 miles on them and ride was up to my expectations. i am anxious to tow my travel trailer with them in the spring to see how they do. this is my first time owning michelin tires and wont be my last. i know they are a little pricey but i think it will pay off in the long run.

Smooth, strong and long lasting!

I bought these in the 285 75 16 size, as it was the tallest I could get. The load rating is very high. On road traction is VERY good, wet, dry and snow. Off road is ok, not great. Towing and braking are very good. Fuel mileage is up 20% or so over the last mud tires i had. I have 30,000 miles in the last year on a diesel excursion and can't perceive any wear. They will probably last 90k or so.

Yukon XL 1500

Bought 2008 yukon XL used in 2010. XL had 30k miles. At time of purchase had dealership put LTX M/S 2's. Yukon now has 102K miles.....Absolutely love the tires. Replaced them with Mich (Lattidtude) based on current budget. I hope I donot regret the decision. Older tires still had plenty of tread just a noticeable inside wear pattern that made me a bit nervous for the family vehichle. Tech said the full size GM vehicles tend to have this issue....IDK.....I'll post again with an update on the Latt's

Love my LTX M/S2's

For a SUV or Truck, whether 4x4 or 2x4 there is not another tire that I will go with. I know people in the tire business and people in the auto business and both swear (as i do ) by Michelin. I'm not sure why other tire makers can't do the same thing, but they can't. I get great treadwear, mileage, ride and traction out of the MS/2's that I keep putting them on everything I own. There is a reason that these are the best selling truck tire, even if they are expensive, THEY ARE WORTH IT!
