allways replace tire with OEM size

great products,4th set of michelins, always gone beyond rated milage,I went one size up with my 2011 tacoma, gas milage went down and driving with this size makes truck difficult to handle at highway speeds, make sure you always replace with OEM type size, allways had good luck with michelins they make great products.

Satisfied

Installed these tires on an 06 Nissan Titan. I was so impressed with my first set that after 80000 miles I bought another set. A very smooth ride. My brother drove my truck and put them on his Titan too. More expensive than other competitors but well worth the money.

I have had LTX tires on ...

I have had LTX tires on my trucks because of their construction site performance and that they do not howl at you on the freeway. The improvement from the LTX to this M/S2 is noticeable, especially in the rain. I was not expecting this much of an improvement on a tire that i used for years, glad to see your research development pay off for my excitement.

Why I use Michelin

My truck is a diesel. I live in the desery with extreme temperature highs, and vacation in Oregon where it is cold. My last set of Michelins (LT265/75R16) went well over 100K miles with good tread still left. I never worried about a tire self destruct while pulling my 5th Wheel, my camper, my boat, or at any time (road hazards excluded). I just put new Michelins back on 2 days ago and will continue to trust these tires.

3years + and 65,000 miles

I purchased 4 tires 3 1/2 years ago, before going on a long distance trip. We have driven 65,000 miles in a Tahoe that pulls trailers, travels dirt roads and hauls kids! The tires still have great tread wear and I expect to get the full 80,000 mile use out of them! I do rotate my tires as recommended by my tire professional, so I feel as though that has added to the life of the tires. I have recently purchased a second vehicle and plan to put Michelin tires on that as well!

First time buyer, lifelong customer.

I had purchased the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires, after trying other name brand tires for several years. I use my vehicle for my job and I am constantly traveling. With other tires, I would have to get new tires every six months. With Michelin tires, I have had them less than six months and I see less tread wear. Recently, I had screw in my tire and took it to a service station that fixes flats. The employee at the station who repaired the tire told me he had work there for over 23 years and said of all the tires out there, Michelin are the best. While they may be a little more expensive than other brand tires, I feel the price is an investment in the quality of the tires and well worth not having to buy new tires every six months. I had never bought Michelin tires before, and now that's all that will ever be on my truck!

Awesome Set of Tires

I needed to replace my tires on my 2013 Yukon XL and I decided to go with the Michelin LTX M/S2 set. That week I had to drive across the state of Michigan several times during some heavy spring showers and the tires performed like a champ. I felt secure as did my family. Also, I feel like the tires have reduced the road noise as well. Great first two weeks and I expect the Michelin brand to live up to its' reputation over the next 60,000 miles.

Truly Great!

I have had this set on my daily driver SUV for over 65000 miles with great wear, balance, and traction. At this rate of wear I will probably get 100000+ out of them! They truly are great tires, but what else do you expect when buying Michelin's? Nothing but the BEST!

Great Tire So Far

Switched to this tire for a '03 Yukon Denalli XL; had 2 sets of another passenger-style tire and the OEM tire for the first 110,000 miles. Have less than 2,000 miles experience so far. Ride is not quite as comfortable, but is not that bad considering that it IS a truck, and I am carrying 38 lbs. in them which is 4 more than the old tires. I think that passenger tires are OK for this vehicle if it is used only for a grocery/6 kid hauler, but not for towing, heavy hauling, or off-pavement driving. Road noise is quiet, even with the deeper tread. The side sway is noticeably less than with passenger tires. Traction in light rain is a non-issue; it's like dry pavement. Have to wait to find out about heavy rain, snow or ice, but the ratings say that this tire ranks at the top. These tires don't squeel at extra low speeds and tight turns in parking lots, either (quite embarrasing with old tires as everyone looks to see who is "racing" thru the parking lot). Trailer towing is much more stable. So far, I am well pleased, even though I had to pay 1/3 more for them than the previous make passenger-style tires. Wish I had done it the last time I bought tires.
