No Complaints

So far, so good with these tires. I have only had them on the vehicle for one day, but as we were on our way to our vacation destination, my wife commented how smooth the ride was. These tires were replacements for a set of Michelin LTX M/S I purchased for my 2005 Chevy Suburban in July 2009. I had about 77,000 miles on them befroe I had to replace them. The problem was not the itre wore out, but that I had run over what looked like a strip of brad nails because I had about 15 of them in two treads on the tire. I think I could have gotten another year and 15,000 miles out of them. The tire still had some good tread and were not in danger of reaching the wear bars anytime soon. The tires also showed no signs of cracking. I have had great success with Michelin tires over the years. I had a 1994 GMC Jimmy that (I believe) I had used two sets of the LTX M/S on. These tires wore like iron and seemed to show signs of dry rot before the tread wore out. I cannot verify the model of the the tire because my sister-in-law totalled the vehcile about a year and a half after we sold it to her. The vehicle had about 245,000 miles when it was totalled. I had a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer that I had used two sets of the Cross Terrain tires on. One set lasted four years, while the other set was on for four and half years, and probably could have lasted another six months or so. However, this vehicle was also totalled when I was t-boned by someone talking/texting on their cell phone as they were running a red light. So, I cannot tell you how many miles I got on the these tires but the OEM tires (non-Michelin) only lasted two years. The vehicle had 235,000 miles when it was totalled.

3years + and 65,000 miles

I purchased 4 tires 3 1/2 years ago, before going on a long distance trip. We have driven 65,000 miles in a Tahoe that pulls trailers, travels dirt roads and hauls kids! The tires still have great tread wear and I expect to get the full 80,000 mile use out of them! I do rotate my tires as recommended by my tire professional, so I feel as though that has added to the life of the tires. I have recently purchased a second vehicle and plan to put Michelin tires on that as well!

Michelin is the ONLY Tire to Buy!

I switched to Michelin tires on both our vehicles about 10 years ago. I have had many folks ask me why & quite frankly the answers are very simple. It is simple math. Yes you may pay more for Michelins but if you do the math of how many more miles you will get on a set, the increased gas mileage, unreal stopping efficiency when needed in all types of weather, the new mileage rating on certain tires, the change a flat benefit at no charge why would you not invest the best you can buy for the money for the most important feature of your vehicle, the tires you and your family ride on? Prior to Michelin I had many other brands but not one comes close to the overall performance of Michelins, Period. Now stating that you must ensure you follow the rules of rotating every 6000 miles, ensuring you check the tire pressure often, which takes what 5 minutes and keeping the front end aligned and the tires balances. Not a lot of effort to get more of everything out of your tires that you & family ride on daily. I repeated that statement for a reason. I am sure you want to be safe and want your family safe when you are driving your vehicles. I tracked my gas mileage using my tablet on the set I just replaced and it went up near 7% over the life of the set on my Pathfinder that by the way lasted for 92,000 miles! I will never put any other tire on my vehicles except Michelin & I feel the reasons provided above explain that as simply as possible. Travel Safe on Michelins!

The best Truck and Large SUV tire

These tires are the best tires money can buy, smooth, quite, and durable. I have these on my Ford Excursion 4x4, the King of all SUV's and they are like driving on one air and handle great in dirt washed roads without throwing pebbles and gravel everywhere. I five star tire.

its the only one

We live in Salt Lake City so as everyone knows we have mountains and lots of snow, its the best tire we have put on our 2006 Durango awd. They climb the canyon paths and provive my family with excellent traction throughout the winter. Even my wife has stated that she is sure the truck even gets better fuel economy over the last set of tires.

Smooth ride

I just bought these for my 2005 ford Ranger pickup before going on a 600 mile business road trip, and I immediately noticed a smoother ride and less road noise. And i may be imagining things, but I'd swear I'm getting better fuel economy! My previous tires were also Michelins (different model) and did well (I got over 80,000 miles out of them) but these seem even better (maybe just the fact they are new). Anyway, so far so good. I guess time will tell. I know this much; If you rotate your tires every 4 to 6 thousand miles, these tires will last a very long time.

Keep on Truckin'

I replaced the Michelin Cross Terrains on my 2004 Ford Ranger with the LTX MS2's and they are great. Bad experiences with other brands, eg. loud tire noise, uneven and poor wear, led me to the Michelin brand on my truck, and I have been very pleased with them. I got over 40,000 miles on the Cross Terrains, in some not-so-light duty, and so far the new LTX MS2 has exceeded my expectations, while doing some heavy lifting. Snow and hills in Pennsylvania, cement blocks for my garage, and sand and pavers for the patio, I've found they really handle well, and can handle the load. Michelin is the premier tire for people who care about performance and safety. Thanks Michelin, I'll keep putting you on my truck, and my wife's SUV!

Drive a lot.

We drive about 1200 miles round trip several times a year and we replaced our noisy tires with Michelin tires. Our rides are much more pleasant now. The ride is smoother and quieter. They are more expensive than other brands, but I think they are worth it.

Great all weather handling tire

These tires were recommended to me from a couple of friends. We drive onto the beach, for surf fishing. I had another manufacturer on my Honda Pilot, that I hated. They were terrible in wet weather. I always had to be extra cautious about driving in wet weather. As I stated earlier; we drive onto the beach. I have never gotten stuck and they dig in real well. On the highway these tires are very quiet. The one thing that is a must is maitenance and tire rotation. We have 4 cars in the family and I have Michelin tires on all our cars.

Great Tires, Good Handling on wet roads

Solid, reliable tires that work well on snow and wet roads. Good value and look good too. Had these on Mercury Mariner for almost 2 months now. Used them to replace the original factory tires that came with my vehicle when it was new (as my older tires had 55,000+ miles on them and were starting to make noises and lose traction.) Good warranty on these new Micheline LTX-M/S2 tires.
