[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome slow cooker. I love that you can brown, sauté, slow cook, reheat, steam and simmer with it. It is well made and durable. It slow cooks to perfection every time. It is really easy to use. It has buttons for slow-cook, brown/sauté, and steam. You can adjust the time and temperature. It wipes clean easily and is dishwasher safe. I love this slow cooker and would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is truly a one pot cooker. We can sear the meat in the cooker. The insert is removable....that is a huge plus, plus, plus for me. It makes clean up a breeze. I love saute' veggies. I dislike sautéing until now. Getting out dinner prepared to cook at night for the next night is a lifesaver. I can set the timer. I can smell what we are having when I open the door. This is a great slower cooker. It is amazing quality. It plenty big to feed the entire family. This saves a lot of money on eating out because we are always short on time with all of our evening activities. Now we save money and have healthy good meals. Thank you!

I didn’t realize you could not pre-program this slow cooker so you could leave in the morning and have it start cooking sometime during the day. For a slow cooker of this price, that should be one of the best features it offers. I wouldn’t buy it again for that very reason.

After about 10 uses, the writing on the control panel started to wear off. Also, I have owned multiple slow cookers over the years. All of them function well, just wore my last one out and decided to splurge on a “fancy “slow cooker since I use them so much. The sauté and steam options are not worth the extra hundred dollars I spent on this. Not even close. Does not store well with frequent movement between my cabinet, and the counter, looks far more worn than its age and use. Buying this was definitely a mistake.

I have an older slow cooker that really is a pain to clean and burns in some places, uneven cooking at best. This new slow cooker is amazing! First, I can brown meat right in the unit, really getting the flavor I want before I slow cook. Then I simply toss in my other ingredients and let it go. We make one pot meals often and the pre-setting on this cooker make it easy. What I like even more is the clean up, the pot lifts right out, plus it has Greenpan's ceramic nonstick interior. Just rinse and wash, done. No more scrubbing! Lastly, I have to say it is really good looking and happy to leave it out on my countertop when not in use. Total upgrade!

I bought this slow cooker to replace 2 older Crock-Pots and used it for the first time yesterday. What I love: the ability to sear in the cooker, the color (white), the light weight of the insert, the handles on the insert that make it easy to left out, the ease of cleaning the insert, the size (perfect for my family of two). The caveats: the difference in hight and low settings default is only 10 degrees (my old Crock-Pot on high reached 300) so you may need to adjust the temperature manually if you really need a quick cook, the length of the plug cord. Since this slow cooker sears, it may spatter. Most kitchens have plugs on the backsplash under upper cabinets. It is difficult to get this slow cooker far enough away from upper cabinet to avoid grease splatter. Note to GreenPan - please make a longer cord.

I am a working momma and struggle to figure out what to make, for my family, for dinner every night! This slow cooker has been making it so much easier for me. It is so convenient and easy to use, with all the preset settings and temperatures. It helps me to get dinner cooked and on the table, with minimal effort, after getting home from work. I love all the different dinner options I can make in it! Searing meat is now a breeze and I don't have to worry about dirtying up multiple pans for one meal. The inside pan has handles, is lightweight, and comes right out so cleanup is a breeze. This cooker is pretty bulky, so I would suggest having plenty of counter space available and ready for it. The color fig is a very beautiful color and would look good in any kitchen. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an easy way to get a healthy and delicious dinner to the table.

I got this slow cooker for Christmas last year and it was love at first sight. The features are amazing and the non-stick "crock" is a game changer. Unfortunately, a few months ago it began randomly shutting off in the middle of cooking. This resulted in a number of lovingly prepared meals that had to be thrown out. Also, the lettering on the buttons wear off quickly and then you have to press buttons from memory, which isn't great if, like me, you only use your slow cooker a few times per month. The concept of this appliance is excellent, but the quality and longevity of the product is lacking, especially at this price point.

Other crockpots I have had were more difficult to grab the inside as they did not have handles. The 6 quart is the perfect size. I really enjoy being able to brown the meat right in the same pot, it is a very nice feature!.
