Just open the velcros faster on the back of the sandal slide your foot in tighten the velcro up to suit your needs and where you go. Would buy again in a heartbeat and be in $5 off the original price was good as well.

Very comfortable

Bad design, failed model. 
This particular model is missing proper back / hill support. 
Extremely inconvenient, takes a lot of time to put on / take off, not cozy while walking, flimsy and shaky feeling. 
Previous model Arvada was just perfect and this current one is a failure.
Arvada was my daily driver to work, hiking, beach, bicycling and served almost a year. 
If you still can find Arvada get it instead of this current one.

I enjoy  these sandals, very comfortable and durable. I have used them when swimming and wear instead of sneakers for everyday use. I even wore them on my last trip to Disney World and the were very comfortable walking around the parks in them . Highly recommend them
