[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with this slow cooker, it does what it should very well, and it’s features are really useful. I’m a big fan of GreenPan, their coatings are really tough, way tougher than Teflon and other coatings, truly non-stick (making cleanup super easy), and being non-toxic is a definite plus. I haven’t tried all the settings, but the browning setting works really well, meaning you don’t need to use a separate pan… it has worn up times meaning food hits the pan at the right temperature. And after you’ve browned, just set it to slow cooker (hi/low/warm) and set the time. I found it very easy to use and intuitive, I didn’t need to open the instructions at all, although it does come with helpful information. I like how the pot is much lighter than a crockpot’s ceramic pot, it makes it much easier to was and move around… I’ve broken a crockpot before because of the weight and it being slippery with soap. Again, I’m very happy with this, I really like GreenPan products, and it looks good, I definitely recommend getting this!

Once you get past how good it looks and use it you'll be super stoked on its performance. It's ease of operation and multitude of options is amazing. I personally love the sear option. The non stick is perfect for cleanup as well. Overall we are ecstatic with our new slow cooker from green pan.

It is sold as a 6 quart slow cooker, but if you actually put 6 quarts of water in it - it is full to the absolute brim. Instructions caution: "7. Do not add liquid within an inch of the top of aluminum inner pot, or the water may flow out during cooking." Which means it can't ever be used to hold 6 quarts in any case.

I have been cooking up a storm with this.. Chili, stew, steamed veggies.... I love that I can brown and then slow cook in the same pot! The fact that the coating is healthy really makes me happy too! Plus the pot is super heavy duty... I have another slow cooker like this and it's not where near as sturdy... Love that I use the buffet setting when I have people over... perfect!

After many attempts with different items, this product simply isn’t cutting it. I’ve attempted to slow cook beans several times now, and after 3 (12 hr) increments they were still firm. I’ve cooked a chicken, and it took a full 8 hr cycle on high and still wasn’t tender. I’ve made a roast which I had to finish off in my Dutch oven because it still wasn’t ready by dinner time. I love the look of the product, and more importantly that it is non-toxic. Unfortunately it just needs fine tuning because the product simply doesn’t work. I have many other products by this brand that I love. Very sad that I don’t feel the same about this one :/

We love beef; hence, using this slow cooker to make the beef soft is definitely the bomb. It is easy to use because it is very straightforward - all you have to do it choose if you want to saute it or slow cook or steam! We love the fact that it is non-toxic and is easy to clean. It is a perfect addition to our kitchen appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Premiere 6-Quart Slow Cooker is the absolute best kitchen appliance I own to date! With a chic, stainless steel exterior, LCD screen and single-button push settings, this slow cooker is just brilliant! With a 6-quart capacity, I am able to feed my family of 4 with ease, and have plenty of leftover for secondary meals. My favorite feature of this slow cooker is the ability to sear meats prior to slow cooking, as it saves me from a secondary mess! The ceramic insert cooks food slowly and evenly, and the ability to easily set a timer and temperature are so convenient. We utilize Silicone utensils are recommended to prevent scratches and have had no issues with scratches on the surface. The unit is simple to clean and just prepares the most beautiful meals! Highly recommended!

I have an older slow cooker that really is a pain to clean and burns in some places, uneven cooking at best. This new slow cooker is amazing! First, I can brown meat right in the unit, really getting the flavor I want before I slow cook. Then I simply toss in my other ingredients and let it go. We make one pot meals often and the pre-setting on this cooker make it easy. What I like even more is the clean up, the pot lifts right out, plus it has Greenpan's ceramic nonstick interior. Just rinse and wash, done. No more scrubbing! Lastly, I have to say it is really good looking and happy to leave it out on my countertop when not in use. Total upgrade!
