Hi Brenda! To preheat you air fryer you simply set the temperature at which you are cooking the food or at the temperature that the recipe states. Click “on” or turn the timer dial and let the air fryer heat for 3-5 minutes. We recommend 3 minutes for small air fryers less than 3QTs and for about 5 minutes for larger air fryers.
