At night, its bluish glow provides subtle illumination for the area where it is placed; besides, with the lights off, insects fly straight toward the UV/blue glow. Its curved shield hides the trapped insects, which is a very important feature. Replacing the cartridge is quick and easy—you simply remove the plastic tab without having to touch any sticky parts. I recommend getting one; you won't regret it.

There was no noise and just the light which doubles as a nightlight for my late night water needs. Fruit flies were caught in it in the first 30 minutes I had it plugged in. I love I can plug it in and I don't have to worry about it, and it works great! These are a great addition and the price is well worth it. They don't have any kind of odors, like the vinegar traps I did use, I will definitely be purchasing more.

I might even put wallpaper over the front to match the background. ;) but this will always sit next to my sink

First, let me say the outlets in my kitchen are sideways and not straight up and down, and that was no problem for this. You can easily twist the bottom of the units to turn sideways so the trap sits upright in the outlet. It puts off a nice blue light like a nightlight. It's been in one week and it cut down the fruit flies in my kitchen tremendously. I always get some this time of the year. I like that there's no chemical insecticides. It's safe to use indoors. The unit says ot will blink when full. It's an easy, really effortless way to control indoor pests.

Within 24 hours, it caught so many insects and fruit flies that I didn't even realize was buzzing around. The blue UV light draws them and they get stuck at the back of insert where you don't even get to see them. Plus, it looks like a nice modern night light. Pros: 1. Completely odorless and chemical free. 2. Clever design that the bugs gets trapped in the back 3. Doubles as a nice modern night light.

I like that when I'm ready to change the sticky trap it comes out easily and I'm able to buy refills. It doesn't make a noise or let off a scent either. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an insect trap that's easy and effective.
