I love that you just pull off the backing, pop the sticky part into the plug in, plug it into the wall and forget about it for 2 weeks! So easy to use. I've already been seeing gnats and a flat checking it out and I have no doubt they will soon be stuck. It seems to work best on fruit flys and not so much in larger flying insects. I don't know if a moth or mosquito eater or fly would go behind the shield looking for the light and get stuck. I do feel a little bad that they don't die there quickly. And I don't love having to buy refills. It would be worth it to me if it could be washed and become sticky again!

We have 2 small kids which means our sliding glass door tends to stay open for longer periods of time and we love fruit, which both means more bugs. This was just after one night (had bananas on the counter and the weather was nice so we were in and out of the house a lot). It does turn on its side if your space needs that so that is a nice feature. The blue light is pretty bright and it's always constantly on. I do wish it had a light sensor so it was off during the day but that's literally my only side note with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bugs are attracted to the blue light making it easy to get rid of them!!! I highly recommend especially for little tiny flies! The light is near my garbage can and some sugary coffee syrups and the bugs have been gone form this area.

Fly strips are ugly and sticky, so the idea of having something to catch flies and gnats in a more discreet manner is great. The cartridge being so easy to pull out and replace is appealing too. Unfortunately, I've had it plugged into my wall for over a week and caught a total of four small flies. The picture I included shows that I caught two within the first 24 hours. I've moved it around to different areas of my house where I see them, like the laundry room and the kitchen, and still no luck. Bummer! I was really hoping for a solution to our gnat problem in the summer.
