It is a blue light that is not too bright it is pleasant to see . Very durable . Safely made. Covers large area. It is powered so you conecct to a socket. If you have knots, fruit flies or any flies aggravating your space grab this NOW. Have not seen a fruit flies in days.

Easy to toss the sticky part and replace. Plugs in most any outlet for easy versatility in placement. The only downside is the replacement price.

Removing the covering from the sticky surface was easy as well as easy to replace the sticky pad when changing it out. I didnt notice any sound either.

They're so nice and so discreet they trap the bugs and hide them. It looks like a little nightlight. I have them in each room of my house now.
