It's easy to set up, runs quietly, and blends in pretty well without being distracting. I like that it works steadily in the background and helps catch flies and other flying insects without any sprays or strong smells. For me, it's a simple, low-maintenance way to make the house feel cleaner and more comfortable.

I hate bugs, so knowing this catching makes me feel so good. I change the pad when it looks like enough for me is on it. My picture is when need to change it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Zevo flying insect trap just, well, works! I have mine plugged into a corner near some windows and plants in the living room where flies seem to gather if they get inside from an open door, and we tend to get a lot of small flying bugs from letting the dog out at night & from our indoor plants. I had an off brand version of this closer to the door we use to let the dog out at night and was happy to see how well these worked in comparison. I'd say this version is a little bit better due to the curved nature of the housing and the sticky pads - more likely to get the pests trapped. The only 4 downsides are - 1) you have to be ok with the blue light it emits, 2) it requires an outlet, 3) it stands off from the wall a good few inches, and 4) you have to buy refills for the sticky pad. To me, its benefits outweigh the negatives I mentioned, but your use case may differ. The sticky pads aren't super expensive but they're not dirt cheap, and the electricity they use isn't a whole lot but it isn't free either. From my photo of the back side - you can see how effective it has been for me; this sticky pad has been on for roughly 2-3 weeks during the summer months. We do have a pest control company that comes and sprays quarterly (inside and out) and we do spray our yard with pest control. I do spray my plants with pesticides (outside, then brought in once dry) but we still deal with small flying bugs so this is a great additional way to control the pests in our home.

It has no scent, which is wonderful when you are using this in your kitchen. There are three sizes available compact, perfect for bathrooms, small kitchens and tight spaces. Full size perfect for living rooms, large kitchens and entryways. Max perfect for garages, basements and high insect areas. I use the full size, since my home is an open floor plan. I plug it in near my side entrance, where flying insects sometimes enter the home. It is so easy to use. Peel the liner off the very sticky cartridge then insert the cartridge into the holder and plug in. So easy. The trap can even rotate to the side. They recommend you avoid other light sources, as it competes with the blue light that attracts the insects. Simply replace the cartridge when it's full. If the light starts blinking, check the cartridge to make sure it's inserted correctly, or full. I love that this is completely thoughtless..plug in and leave it. No worrying about sprays that can be harmful to your pets and family. No residues to clean up. And no carcasses to pick up. No scents, nothing. So simple, love it. Highly recommend.

In the summer my house gets filled with flies from the kids running in an out the door letting them in and now that I have this I don't have to worry about them flying around driving me crazy anymore!! Greatest invention ever
