This works great for fruit flies or any other pest that you may have flying around the house or any other place you don't want them. It is very easy to use just peel off the outer layer of film and plug in to an outlet. Leaves no odor behind that some traps may leave with luring scents. Great for keeping away the insects you don't want hanging around.

I do like the light from it as well. As for trapping the bugs, the stickiness of the strips are significant. I didn't get any after photos as I'm away. But believe me when I say it works!

I was so excited to get this product to review, especially since I had a ton of fruit flies in my kitchen. This took forever to even attract one fruit fly. I would say it was plugged in about a week. I relocated it twice as the package says to put it next to where you are getting the most bugs. I'm within that one week. I caught two. There was fruit flies right next to it and they were not being attracted by the device. I would say after about 4 or 5 weeks you could see in the second photo that it finally started catching but probably made a 50% difference. If you can I would get a traditional bug. Zapper or even homemade dish soap fruit fly trapper get the same results.

I received the product and placed it in the power outlet in my kitchen since that is where I'm having a problem with gnats. I had high expectations due to the popularity and claims of how great the brand is. I was disappointed after only seeing very few gnats or anything else in the trap after a week of using it. I do believe it is a safe product and would have longevity compared to some other products on the market. However, unless something can be done to make it attract the insects better I won't be purchasing this anytime soon. I do not like to leave negative reviews but unfortunately this one fell very short and I had to be honest so other people don't waste their money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent product. The gnats have been awful this summer, so I plugged this into my kitchen over a month ago. The first placement did not really get a lot of action, but I changed it and saw a decrease in the gnats. However, it was not a large difference. The blue light is subtle and not distracting at all. It's also quiet, no high pitched buzzing like some can! The cartridge is not full yet, so I will keep it plugged in, and hopefully see a bigger difference.

I was a bit skeptical but after a few days I started to check and saw several tiny bugs on the sticky side. Have seen way less little fliers than I normally do.
