Within a couple of days, I noticed it catching fruit flies and small gnats that had bothering us . When you plug it in it has blue light that will attract any flying insects and it's great to use around fruit I found. Plus, I'm like bug zapper's that use electricity to take out the bugs with the Zevo there's no smell at all. Actually catches the bugs is a sticky trap that you can take out and refill. Another part that I loved about this is as shown in the picture if you can turn it sideways to make it fit however you need on your counter!
