Great Tire

All I ever buy are Michelin tires. I'm replacing my current set of Premier A/S with a new set now. I got 83,000 miles out of the first set on my 2005 Honda Accord I use for commuting to work. I go through tires about every 2 years because I drive a lot, My Honda currently has 430,000 original miles on the original engine/transmission. The tires are very nice to drive with. The tires are quiet, they handle well and they brake well in wet or dry conditions. I'm very satisfied with this tire and that is why I'm buying another set of 4 tires. I know tires and I can recommend this tire.

Good tire attributes but fast tread wear and lower MPG

I bought a full set of these tires in the summer of 2018 for my 2014 Subaru Forester. They have 32,500 miles on them. The good. These tires ride well, absorb road noise and shock, corner well, grip in wet and snow conditions, and look good. I have Michelin X Ice winter tires for my vehicle which I normally swap into from Dec-Feb, but I decided to skip this past winter to see how the Premier A/S tires do in the winter season. They worked out great in lighter snow and way better than the original OEM tires in all snow/ice conditions. The not so good. 1) Loss of fuel economy. I expected a drop in mileage since the OEM tires weren't the best and were primarily fair-weather tires, but I've lost an average of 1.6 MPG over the last 30,000 miles. That's a lot to me. 2) At 32,500 miles I seriously doubt I'll make the 60,000-mile mark as advertised. From the looks of it, I'll probably make 45,000 miles, maybe 50,000. I'm going to stop by the tire store I bought them from and have them give me a better estimate. However, they're wearing at a faster rate than anticipated.

BMW 2001 325Ci - Michelin Premier A/S

Bought my wife a used BMW convertible - front end need some work as would be expected with a car that had 16 years on it. After everything was replaced, still did not ride good, rotated and re-balanced the Goodyear tires on, not a noticeable difference . Swapped out the Goodyear tires with the Michelin Premier A/S. It was the difference between night and day, drives and handles great. Point is, car is 16 years old, cost $36K new, one can choose to treat a car like this as a 16 year old car with over 100K miles, I treat this one as a $36K vehicle with 100K miles. Tires make a big difference - go with Michelin

OUTSTANDING TIRES FOR MY MAZDA

I recently bought Michelin A/S tires for my 2013 Mazda 3 iTouring. The old tires were noisy, rough riding, and needed air frequently. When I had the Michelins installed I felt like I was in a different car...quiet, smooth, and great performance on wet roads. These tires are the best tires I have driven on in many years.

Perfect match for both vehicles.

I have a 2013 Honda Civic LX. I wanted Michelin tires for this car because I've had positive experiences with them on other vehicles. First, the dealer installed Michelin Defenders which were good, but softer feeling. I called Michelin and they helped me get into the Premier A/S, which was the proper H rated tire . I have been smiling ever since. They feel just right. Sporty, with a tight feel in the corners and braking distance seems much shorter. No dip in the front when coming to a stop. I've also put a set on my wife's 2013 Ford Focus SE. Same positive results. It's been 5000 miles in the Florida heat and rain. No complaints.

Extremely disappointed is an understatement!

I purchased these tires in December 2017, based on Cadillac dealer recommendation. I have driven only 23,000 miles on these tires on my Cadillac SRX. The tires need to be replaced already. The tread on my right side is down to 3/32 and on my left side down to 4/32. This is unacceptable!

Good tire, bad mileage

Second set of Michelin Premier A/S 235/45R17 94V’s on my car. Performance has been up to standards but they have both worn out before 29,000 miles. Dealer always has a reason to deny any credit towards new tires even though mileage rating from Michelin is 60,000 miles. They should be honest when rating the tire wear so that loyal customers don’t feel misled.

I've been pleased since 1985

Michelin is the only Tire manufacturer my family has experienced tires lasting 5% to 10% longer than the guarantee. The Others barely hold up to their promise. It's nice to know a guarantee/promise still means something to Michelin. As a retired soldier who served 27 years a promise still means something to me and my great-grandson; who will be born Sept. 6th, 2014. I've recommended Michelin tires since 1985.

Fantastic Tire!

My car came stock with 215/55R17 94H Nexen CP671s and the traction they provided was terrible. The tires were like hockey pucks, didn't provide any good levels of traction in bad weather. Decided to upgrade to the Premier A/S tire and wow what a difference. The ride is smooth and responsive and I feel safe driving on them. Had to emergency stop in the rain once and the car didn't loose traction at all! I have always had good experience with Michelin tires and now I doubt I will buy anything else. I was also late on putting my winter tires on and they provided enough traction in snow to allow me to feel safe driving on them.

Don’t expect 60,000 miles

I got about 35,000 miles out of a new set when they got to 3-5/32 all around. Local reseller explained that the warranty required they be worn to 2/32 to be covered. This meant driving with 3/32 of tread on the front tires this past winter. Finally got the front tires to the magic 2/32 with 48,000. While the prorated warranty will cover some replacement costs. The thought of asking anyone to drive with such low tread depth again is not worth it. Keep the $50, I’ll take sound of mind, thank you.
