It has a clean design and a very spacious refrigerator and freezer interior, so even if I loaded it with a lot of food, I could still find it when I opened the door. I highly recommend it if you are looking to buy a refrigerator.

Has never worked right. Freezer doesn't keep items frozen consistently. Tech came out replaced the mother board and some other stuff. Seemed to work fine for a bit. Now its out of warranty and stuff doesn't stay frozen. App says there is nothing wrong with it...... frustrating.

I purchased this refrigerator last summer (2023). I cannot complain about the products ability to keep food preserved by doing what it was designed to do. But I CAN complain about the products quality of the stainless steel used for the face of the unit. It is just me and my wife in the house and we are both in our 70's. How much abuse can the refrigerator get from us? What I am getting at is the door faces, the flat stainless steel front panels, look like a hail storm has hit it. If it is bumped with anything hard it dents. I purchased the unit from a national big box store. To make a long story short it is the third refrigerator that was brought to my house. The first two were dented and I refused to accept them. This one was delivered and wrapped in clear shrink wrap on the surface. I did not see any dents on the surface while looking through the film on the metal so I accepted the unit. When I pilled the film off, which was after we had put all the items in the unit, there were many small dents in the metal. I went back to the store and told them and they offered to send me another one but by this time I didn't want to wait another 7 - 10 days for another one that could be in the same condition. Today I polished the stainless using a soft micro-fiber cloth and a spray stainless cleaner/polish. Any presser that I applied to get heavy dirt marks off scratched the finish. I have had other brands of refrigerators that were stainless and never had this kind of a problem. It seems that the thinkness of the metal is too thin to support normal everyday wear and tear. So to say the least, I am very unhappy with the product and I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I never expected the capacity to be that much different but the Samsung RS28A500ASR/AA seems to have double the storage space! The ice maker is out of the way, making extra space in the freezer as well. The Samsung RS28A500ASR/AA is able to connect to Samsung SmartThings app making monitoring functions and grocery lists a breeze. Love it!

The smart feature is excellent, I can adjust the temperature using my phone. It also warns me if the door is left open. It works well as of now, but I think I'm missing the bottom freezer door shelf because none of the ones I have fit in that area. Will have to see how long this holds up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 28.0 cu. ft. Smart Side-by-Side Refrigerator RS28A500ASR. The Power Freeze function is great to quickly freeze frozen items that have thawed out a bit from the travel from the grocery store to home. The Power Cool is a nice function to cool down the refrigerator from the constant open and closing due to multiple family members going in and out of the refrigerator. The bright interior LED lighting is amazingly bright and makes finding items in the fridge easy. The 2-Minute Door Alarm is always nice to let you know if the fridge was left open for to long and a nice reminder to make sure it stays closed when not in use. The Samsung SmartThings App to control the temperature and monitor your refrigerator remotely is a very convenient way to check to make sure the rest of the family members are keeping the fridge closed when not in use to keep everything in it nice and cool. The fingerprint resistance surface definitely makes the constant fingerprints less noticable and if you do see them it's easy to wipe it clean. The large capacity easily houses all of our old refrigerators contents and has room for way more! All of the contents stay at a cool temperature even with multiple people opening and closing the refrigerator at different times of the day. I would still purchase this refrigerator at full price since it works so well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the side by side design which allows for stuff we are more often to use can be at a regular height and the other stuff we are less likely to need daily can be towards the bottom of the fridge or freezer. Other designs where one is on top means that it is harder to organize our perishables the way we want to for easier accessibility for different things that need to be frozen or just cold.
