The cuff is made of hard plastic. I confess, I am overweight and this cuff is difficult to put on, as you must keep the hose section on the inside of your arm. By the time I get that set up, I am frustrated and blood pressure is definitely up. Also, when I press button to take blood pressure, the cuff actually hurts my arm so bad as the pressure is building, it brought tears to my eyes. I thought this type would be more accurate but I went back to the one that works on my wrist. I just don't recommend this for persons with large arms. In my instance, it was a waste of money. Live and learn.

I purchased one for my husband and I and then for my mother who has heart conditions and high blood and pulse rate. It's easy to use, the information is clear on the monitor. We don't use the app ( just our choice). We know it's not 100% accurate, could be off /- 1/2 but we feel comfortable its giving us an accurate range. We like then it keeps track of previous days, give time and date.

What an excellent home health tool. It allows 2 people to keep track of their separate pressures for the month...works quickly...checks out with 100% accuracy in doctor's office. It let me know why I've been dizzy and have fallen. When I stand up my systolic pressure drops 30 points! Yes, I recommend this.

I got diagnosed at a young age with chronic hypertension. I have used many different cuffs and have never found one that was accurate. I purchased this one and brought it to my hospital to compare and it was spot on! I highly recommend for anyone who has chronic hypertension or hypertension that is hard to control like mine. The app that goes with the cuff syncs right to your phone too and shows a spreadsheet and chart of your readings which is so helpful for medical providers!

I would highly recommend this item to patients with blood pressure issues. This blood pressure model works like charm, easy to operate and sufficient. My Nephrologist insisted I purchase an Omron 7 for accuracy. No other machine or model was acceptable to him. I purchased mine and being an RN I have to say it’s very very accurate. Well worth the money. Don’t waste money on other machines this one is the best!!!

I was happy with this until I realized if I wanted to use it as a plug-in unit I would have to order the $32 cord. I don’t think this is fair that the user has to buy this separately. The unit itself is very good. It displays the last bp reading along with the current one. It also keeps records for two people. Everything is great except the cord. Personally I like to use a corded machine so I know I don’t have to deal with low battery situations.

Cuff has a stiff section that makes it easier to put on. Really like this model over my previous OMRON BP monitor. I did not need the online app option, but thought I would try it. However I wasn’t able to figure out the download. The QR code just seemed to bring me to stuff to buy.

Just revived OmRON BP with my Over the counter benefits. I have purchased OmRON over the years they are reliable. I have not had this long enough to Evaluate as yet. Bought an adapter which does not come with it because it’s more accurate with the adapter than batteries.

I really liked the product it’s what I didn’t like there was no plug-in for it for the wall so I had to learn how to hand by one thought that the machine I don’t think would work properly but I really do like the product looks beautiful other than no cord so I suggest it you buy one when you buy a new machine
