Bought a pallet of these for back yard play area under our large Gorilla brand fort/swingset. Works great except when the kids or dogs kick it out of the trim pieces that contain it to the play area. Our mower doesnt pick these pieces up, a rake doesnt sewm to work well, the blower doesnt blow them well due to the lm carching on the bades of grass, therefore they just stay in the grass or we must pick each piece up by hand. With 2 active kids and two big active dogs that run through the yard daily this is a big issue we didnt plan for prior to this big investent.

I bought this thinking it was the shavings to match what I already had. After my son dumped several bags I walked out to see that it was nuggets not shavings. Also I have to share a word of caution, I have found several metal pieces in it. One of them in my dogs foot. I won’t be purchasing this again.

I love the rubber mulch... we tried it last year just on the front of the house. It rained and it stayed put. Our cedar mulch kept washing away... also the mulch keeps the weed down and holds the moisture in. Needless to say we did the back yard too this year. Would highly recommend!

I removed all my wood mulch and replaced it with this rubber mulch And so far I am extremely pleased. It stays in the mulch bed even during a heavy rain has great drainage and I am seeing already a huge improvement in insect populations such as ants they do not seem to like this mulch over the wood mulch and are moving on. A neighbor is in the process of doing the same thing after checking out mine. The only drawback has been Sams carrying this for a limited time and we have spent a lot of time running to other Sams Clubs to finish our projects.

We used this product 10 years ago at a previous house and it’s still there. I hate having to remulch every year. This stuff looks just like wood mulch, but doesn’t float away or disintegrate the way wood mulch does. One and done! Beautiful color too!

I bought this mulch because I was tired of having to refresh my mulch every year because of faded color. Yes, it costs a little more than regular wood mulch but in the long run it is cheaper. It is a nice mocha brown color. A friend of mine has had it for 7 years and it still looks exactly as mine, I just did. Highly recommend for big areas or small areas.

Love this product! It was easy to distribute in my flower beds. The color is consistent throughout all 24 bags we used. We won’t have to add or replace every year. Most importantly, we don’t have to worry about the termites or other wood loving insects with the traditional wood mulch.

I first bought the rubber mulch to replace regular mulch in a plant bed. A year later, I found that there is a reduction in weed growth and it maintains its color a lot better than regular would mulch. I have been slowly replacing other plant beds with the rubber mulch. I also found it stays in place well. Heavy rains may displace some, but you do not get a lot of the floating you see with many wood mulch types.

I was weary to purchase, too expensive. Am so glad I did though. Bags are easier to carry than wood mulch, easier to dump mulch out, it doesn't stick to inside of bags, easier to spread and looks awesome! Can't tell it's not wood mulch unless you look really close. Have recieved complements on how landscaping looks and ppl have already purchased some based on my positive experience. Only draw back is the price. Pay more upfront but if color really lasts 12 years, it will more than pay for itself, plus doing something positive for the environment which is always a plus. An example of how much easier this is to apply than wood mulch; 12 bags to unload, open (very easy as well), dump and spread only took 1/2 hour. Then needed to buy more, but just ordered online at SAMs and they had it ready to load into my van. It looks great and is very easy to use!

This is my first season using rubber mulch so I cannot speak to durability of color. The first couple of weeks, when the sun would beam on it, there was a distinct rubber smell, but I did not notice it after that. It is easy to handle and spread. It doesn't really "float" away in heavy rain, but you do lose a little. If the color stays, I'll be very happy with the purchase.
