This is the greatest stuff I have ever used, yes it costs a bit more than cedar or bark but the results far outweigh the purchase price which is less than what the big box stores have for smaller bags (.75 CF). I spend about 5-10 minutes a year pulling the occasional weed or two from my front flower bed whereas my neighbors will spend a day at a time pulling weeds and the just wont take my advise and get this stuff. I have used this mulch for over 5 years now and buy a bag or two whenever I can find the correct color. I highly recommend the initial investment for this mulch, ask yourself how much your time is worth and then buy this product.

Stays where you put it even in heavy rain. looks good and no fungus like wood mulch. small rubber smell went away quickly. I have put down over 380 bags around our Hospital and received lots of good comments. The coverage is about 5 sq feet per bag not 10 if you want it to look good.

We bought a total of 45 bags for our kids' play area. After getting it all down I stepped on a piece that had a stiff sharp wire embedded and sticking out of it. I realize these are made from recycled tires (which is great) but I assumed they would be thoroughly screened or metal since they are rated/advertised for use on playgrounds. I emailed GroundSmart customer service and never heard back other than the auto-reply email that someone would be in touch soon (a month ago). The price was good and I liked the idea of rubber on a playground for impact reduction but not if that rubber has metal that is going to require tetanus shots for my kids.

Great Replacement

I'm just kicking myself over the number of bags of bright red mulch I've purchased over the last 10 years. Especially when I got my bags on sale for $7. I can't wait to lay this out. It's ridiculous how much coverage this product is. I bought two bags to put around one to put around the tree and I hope I have enough to put around my hostas. Crazy excellent coverage.ten square feet! I bought the brown because I have brown trim on my house. This is going to look so classy. And the color won't fade like the red mulch does. My god I've probably spent four times the $12 I spent on two bags.

No more dirty dog paws. Two Chihuahua that dash into garden for 30 seconds or less to explore kids passing by, butterflies, birds or chase a squirrel on top of our privacy fence! Wet real mulch was a nightmare to let our chi's do their duty in the rain for the 20 seconds that they were outside. CLEAN, STAINFREE PAWS AT LAST! Nice looking alternative to rocks or pebbles that get hot around plants.

I've been wanting to make the switch to rubber mulch for a couple years now and I was surprised to see that Sam's Club had some in stock! We began with 10 bags and quickly discovered that it would not be enough for all my gardens. We purchased another 20 bags and I'm currently working on getting all of them placed. This mulch does NOT have an odor and it is easy to work with. I'm eager to see how it "performs" throughout the season!

The product itself I give 5 stars ……..My complaint is the way that it was delivered by Sams we needed 80 bags. I was notified when making the order that I could only due 10 at a time. And pay a $12 shipping charge for 8 orders of 10. 50 bags of of the mulch were delivered by 5 different deliveries by people in their personal vehicles . One of the individuals even had a bathrobe and slippers. Several of the vehicles were dirty on the inside and full of dog hair and one of the drives had 3 ripped bags due to the way it was placed in her vehicle. The other 30 bag’s which were supposed to show at the same time never arrived. When I called the online order line to ask and I was told that no one picked up my last 3 orders. It is a service just like Doordash. The driver has the choice to pick up the product or not. We waited all night and still it did not arrive. The next morning I called the online service to see if I was going to be getting the remaining bags and to make the request to not have them delivered by individuals in their personal car. The individual on got frustrated with me and actually hung up on me. I had to call back and I escalated my call to a manager who said they will call the delivery company back to see if they could get someone out to pick the remaining 30 bags up. I told him that I did not want people delivering them in their personal cars and because of the unsanitary conditions I had already experienced. I wanted a professional company to make the delivery in one load and not 3 separate ones. When I received a call back from the manager he said that the delivery company could not get the bags in one load and will put out a new request to have 3 drivers pick it up. The manager also stated that the delivery company stated that they are a professional company. Needless to say I ended up picking the 30 bags up ourselves …. When a customer pays for delivery it should be done by employees in a company delivery truck not individuals and their personal vehicles. To make a customer pay for 8 orders of the same product with 8 different delivery fees is ridiculous. I had to call my credit card and let them know what I was doing so my charges were not denied. I would have rather paid a larger delivery fee in one order and have it delivered by a Sams Club employee who would take care of the handling of how my purchased product would be handled and Sams Club delivery truck in a sanitary vehicle.

Looks great, spreads easy, covers well.

Love the rubber mulch. Last for a long time and help us make my yard looks beautiful
