This is my 2nd set of Defender tires. The Defender 1 or original gave me more than 85k safe miles and performed expertly in snow and rain. The Defender 2 allowed my car to hydroplane in a CT flash flood on I-84 at 40 mph. The Defender 1 gave me about 2% better gas mileage.

I originally purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance Max Life tires in September. After putting 8,000 miles on them, I just wasn’t happy with them, especially after the first heavy rain. America’s tire bought the Good Years back and sold me this set of Michelins. I could feel the difference almost immediately. After almost a week on the tires, they are very quiet and smooth, even on rough roads. Have not driven in the rain with them yet, but I am sure they will be excellent. Very happy with these tires.

I bought these tires based upon the rating they received from Consumer Reports Magazine and my own personal experience with Michelin tires. The tires give a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride on my 2006 Toyota Avalon. They are replacing a set of Michelin Premier All Season tires.

I had to replace original Michelin tires they wore with only 21000 miles with defender2 tires and I find the ride to be very rough. The place I brought tires from said it’s the road and not the tire balance iam very disappointed in the ride I drive a lincoln

I bought a set of defender 2 tires 3 weeks ago (11-20-24)- they rumble and drone like no other tire I have ever had. Stay away from these tires! I have been a fairly consistent Michelin customer for over 30 years and this is my first dissapointment with one of their products. I will try to replace or upgrade using the warranty, but I don't expect this to be an easy battle now.

I recently purchased these to replace my set of 70,000 mi Energi that came on my car from the OEM. First thoughts of the Defender were good until I had to drive on the highway. The amount of groove wander I have with these tires is alarming. In fact so alarming, I had to stop driving on the highway because I thought a wheel was loose. I took the car to the dealer where they had it for three days trying to figure what I was complaining about. I think they are a good tire just not suited for my Fusion.

Have always been a fan of the Michelin tire. Don't know how often your customers get 100,000 miles out of their tires but I am coming up on that magical number. My Honda Accord has 195,000 miles on the odometer and the tires still have 4/32nd left of tread. They were purchased with 99,000 on the odometer, have had 3 low tire pressure warnings but never had one that left me stranded. Will recommend these to my family and friends. The Michelin Defender 2 is an excellent upgrade for my 2018 Honda Civic EX-T. They offer great traction, smooth handling, and a quiet, comfortable ride. Wet and dry performance is impressive, and the ride feels more refined. With an 80,000-mile tread life, they seem durable and long-lasting. Overall, a solid choice for reliability and comfort.

I purchased Defender 2 tires in April 2024 and had my Michelin X-Ice removed from vehicle for the summer months. When I picked up my vehicle from the garage I immediately noticed the ride with my New Defender tires was not as smooth and I had more road noise than with the X-Ice tires. I was surprised by this as I expected the opposite . Aside from the above observations I will say the Defender tires are very responsive to handling & braking

I bought the tires a day ago. I did not put to many miles on them in one day, but I can already tell that these are excellent tires. Very quiet, great dry grip and great handling and ride comfort. My old tires (the new tires the car came with) were Goodyear Assurance Finesse. They were quiet, but not very grippy and they only lasted 3 years/40,000 miles.
