These are the fifth or sixth set of Defenders I have purchased and love them. Quite durable, great tread life, great handling and very good in wet and snow conditions. I will buy again and recommend to friends.

The tires have been fantastic. Nice smooth ride and I feel very safe in the car. These tires were the right selection for what I wanted on my small SUV.

The tires are great the 70 dollar rebate for the purchase of the tires suck never got mine so I would suggest to get the installer to apply for the rebate as you may never get it!

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife’s Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2’s. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law’s Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family’s vehicles. I put the Defender LTX M/S 2 on my truck because I drive a lot of highway miles but still need some decent off road traction periodically. These tires have performed exceptionally well - dry pavement, wet, or snow covered, they get the job done! They ride well for a 10 ply tire and increased my mpg as well. Been a Michelin guy for 50 years and these Defender series further cemented why I ride on their tires.

Purchased 4 Defender 2 tires in the spring of 2023 for a 2020 Mazda CX5. Very satisfied with the tires. These are being used mostly for highway driving in the spring/summer and fall. I have another set of rims and tires for winter driving. They don't seem to have any wear and they are quiet on the highway. Handling is excellent, as I would expect from a Michelin tire. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone looking for new tires.

My first set of these tires came with the car when I bought it new. I put 55,000 miles on them before I replaced them. Back in the day, I would have driven until I had a flat, but no more. I could have put another 5 K on them, but safety first. Also the traction was a little off.

The car came with Primacy Tour A/S tires. The car handled great and had a great ride - fun to drive. These tires are terrible. I made a huge mistake buying them because of my long history of purchasing only Michelin tires. They were the Michelins recommended by a tire dealer I trust. As soon as I drove away with these tires, it was like the car that was so much fun to drive had gone "numb." The dealer tried to fix the issue, but the conclusion seems to be that the Defender tires were a bad match for the car.

Buying Michelin Tires goes back many years starting with my family. Paying a higher price for a tire is worth every cent and the warranty on the Michelin Defender 2 goes a long way on the wear and tear on the tires. The Defender 2 is a quite and smooth tire and I am very satisfied with the performance of the tire.
