With the right tools, it is easy to install. I bought a vinyl tile cutter which made nice, straight cuts (it also has settings for angle cuts). I used my table saw (with a fine tooth blade) when I needed to rip tiles for the last row and a jig saw for cuts around corners. My only complaint was that I did come across a couple of tiles that had a corner chipped off, but those were few or I would have sent them back for replacements. I bought enough tiles for our 3 bedrooms. I completed one at the end of 2023 and it looks great! I plan to start the next bedroom soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this flooring in our entryway because it’s very durable and where we live we get a lot of snow and rain. I like the texture of it. It feels like you’re walking on Stone or sleet outside but it’s actually flooring in your house. We didn’t put this in our kitchen or living room area because it’s a little cold on the feet and we thought it would be really good in the entryway and that it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this. It is well made, has a nice color and looks durable. The quality is great! The texture is nice, it’s not smooth. It seems to be easy to install, just slide the pieces in together. It easy to clean. It is thick and not flimsy. I am definitely interested in having this in my home.

It was hard to really test this product being only eight inches square. I did notice is that the padding on the bottom is much thinner than other brands which would make for a more loud floor when walking on it. The other thing that I noticed was the texture of the floor collected dust in the grooves and was not easy to clean.

I was stuck between tile and vinyl floor. Bad decision going with this vinyl. Beautiful floor but 2 days in and we have scratches that won't buff out. I would not recommend unless your a single person with no guests. We are very disappointed with the durability of this floor.

We bought $2700 worth of select surface vinyl plank flooring. It claims to be waterproof, sturdy, and tough! The floor installor had years of experience and followed instructions to allow for floor to acclimate inside our house several days, then he installed it. It looks beautiful, BUT it was NOT Durable!! 2 months in, our floor began chipping, then cracking where our office desk was. Small desk not heavy at all. Then we noticed the floor under our kitchen table & chairs looked chipped also. 6 months in, our floor had chips cracks and was completely warped! Called company who sent out an inspector out but they said our house was humid, that's why the floor warped. $2700 flooring plus installation costs down the drain! Do yourself a favor DO NOT BUY SELECT SURFACE FLOORING!! THEY DONT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!!!
