We have been very happy with this coffee maker. The removable water reservoir was a must after finding mold growing in our previous coffee maker’s fixed reservoir. This model seems very well built. The coffee taste great, pours nicely, stays hot and the clean up is easy. The replacement filters are very easy to change. So far there are zero complaints!

Absolutely the best coffee maker! Fresh ground beans is the only way to enjoy a real cup of coffee. Not to mention the aroma. Easy to operate, and clean. Metal carafe keeps coffee warm longer too. Absolutely enjoying my little piece of Italy every morning!

Lives up to its hype.

This is the 4th coffee maker with grinder combo I've tried. I use oily, dark roast whole beans like French roast. This has a specific setting for oily beans that is a necessity! I couldn't be more pleased with this machine! If I had to change one thing, it would be the water reservoir. I wish I could just fill it and be able to select the amount I want to brew, but all rhings considered, it's a very minor inconvenience.

The carafe top has just broken and now have to remove the top to pour coffee. Love the concept but the top is not made well

I bought this directly from Capresso site, but am on here looking for a new coffee pot, so that should say it all. I like that it grinds it's own beans and that it has a cycle at the end of the grind to try to clear out any extra beans. What I absolutely hate is that the coffee brews luke warm. I really want a good hot cup of coffee without needing to microwave it to get it to a good temperature. Plus I hate that it doesn't have a warming pad. I think the ones with the glass carafe do have a warming pad. Wish I chose that one instead.

While we have been happy with the Capreso coffee maker itself, the carafe (lid) is not made well. In March, we had it less than a year and the tab on the lid of the carafe broke. Sam's customer service was awesome and sent a replacement, while the manufacturer sent me the phone number where I could purchase a new lid for the carafe. Six months later, the carafe lid has quit working again-we have not dropped the carafe and have been careful when using the carafe. We can remove the lid and pour coffee, but that's not how the carafe should work. We have had grind and brew coffee makers for years and this is the first time we have had one with such a defective part/issue. I would not recommend this machine.

Horrible design as it always overflows from the basket and the lid to the pot broke within a dozen uses. Stopped working and never received a replacement unit because I initiated online and can’t return to the club now.

Grinder stopped working after only a month. The other issue with this item is that it brews by increments of 2 cups.

Not satisfied, thought the water would only dispense what was needed but uses all the water you place in tank. Silly to even have a cup option!
