Herbal Essences was teleased back why i was in high school. Seeing this online gave me a bit of nastalgia. So i bought it. It smells exactly the same, and i was prettye xcited about that. After finally getting the pump to open... I ended up finally having to take the entire pumo out and force it open. Anyway. It's far thinner than it was then. My next observation was that it's far less moiraturizing than used to be as well. It's more of a cheap conditioner vibe , a similar texture to suave's basic conditioner. It rinsed out quickly. For fine hair, that would likely be great. I have curly hair and usually like just a tiny amount to stay in to help my hair softer and keep my hair in line. So its not the same as it was about 20 years ago. But smells great. I'll add some deeo consitionwr to it to get the moisture and staying power i need. But im not sure id buy it again. Maybe for shaving my legs. Which btw ladies..makes your legs silkier than a shaving cream. Mostly dissapointed, but fun for a throwback with the scent.

What a blast from the past! I am very happy that this line of product has returned! I used this shampoo and conditioner YEARS ago as a teenager. I could never get my hair as soft as it was back then. I remembered how much I LOVED the smell of them and how soft it made my hair. When I saw it in the store I quickly bought some without hesitation. It works just as well on my hair as it used to! No more switching around shampoos and conditioners trying to find something that truly works. I am very happy. Please keep it in the stores!!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised! After washing my hair, I applied a quarter size amount to my long, thick hair and I kept it on for five minutes. Upon rinsing my hair, my hair immediately felt so much smoother! In addition, my hair (and bathroom) smelled absolutely amazing!! My hair was so easy to blow out and style, and it felt (and looked) so much healthier, smoother, and frizz free! It did not leave any build up and it did not weigh my hair down, as many conditioners do. I could not be more excited and impressed!!!

And as soon as I opened the conditioner Ohmygosh it was such an amazing unforgettable aroma. The scent is intoxicating. The consistency of the conditioner is nice, makes my hair feel so nice and smooth. And my hair smells really good, husband like it.

Love the smooth & shine shampoo and conditioner. It smells so heavenly. I hadn't tried herbal essences since the originals in the 1970s. I felt nostalgic and gave them a try. I hadn't used any of the previous versions but these are fabulous. I have curly dry hair and they smoothed out the frizz and left my hair soft and shiny. AND the SMELL is sooo nice.
