Great Tires

These tires came on my '15 XLT SuperCrew 4x4. I still have them on right now, just over 58k miles, no flats or repairs, actually has a nail in the tire and not loosing air, tread is holding up well, no noises. I do a lot of highway driving, some gravel. Good ride, good gas mileage and no problems handling my load. I usually have a full bed of HVAC tools and supplies with ladder rack and still gives me an average of 20-21 mpg on the highway and 17-18 mpg in the city. Debating if I should get another set or go with the Goodyear all-terrain adventures. Never took them in deep mud, but for the few times I did get in some mud while hunting, they handled ok, in 4x4.

Not even good for a year

Ride is horrible. Fairly quite on most highways. Loose balance easy. Always have to add air or nitrogen . No all terrain tracrion. 4x4 truck crew cab. Spins on a wet blade of grass. I cant wait to get these things off my truck. Shame on chevrolet and goodyear. This is not a all terrain tire. Lost your minds also dont haul or tow with them and keep tire plugs on hand too

Bad on snow

Its great for comfort and good for every day driving however, on the snow it's garbage I have a 4x4 with a locking diff and I was still sliding like crazy. It was even hard to get going in most cases and it was only 3 inches of snow. But I live in NM so I shouldn't encounter this problem very much.

Very impressed for an OEM tire

I thought I was going to hate these, but I don't. They came on my Z71 as OEM tires. Usually OEM tires downright stink. I don't really see how these are considered "All Terrain" tires, but they do have open tread blocks and full depth sipes, so I guess they would do OK off road. These are so quiet and so comfortable driving on the road. The traction is also great wet or dry. Being in Dallas, we haven't had a chance to test them in winter weather, but I would think they would be OK in light snow.

Good Summer Tire, Horrible Winter Tire

This tire came on my new 2015 Chevy Colorado pickup truck. The tire is just fine in the spring, summer and fall, but horrible in cold winter driving conditions. When the temps are above 40F, this tire rides very smooth and quite, it gives decent gas milage, feels sure footed on dry roads and very acceptable grip on wet roads. On wet roads, the tires will break lose and spin fairly easily when taking off from a dead stop, but they are fine when moving at highway speeds. The big downside to these tires is when the temperature drops well below freezing. The rubber compound becomes way too hard and winter traction plummets especially on hard packed snow or ice. With 4WD, you can still accelerate just fine, but stopping and steering is severely compromised. My truck would literally slide to the side on a crowned roadway. Very scary. I have just purchased some winter rated tires to replace these. I kept them and will run them again during the warmer months.

Very Impressed

After 22 months and 96,000 miles I am finally replacing these tires. While I could probably squeeze another 10,000 out of them, they are starting to be noisy. These are hands down the best tires I have ever had. Very quiet over the road and very good traction in a variety of driving conditions. I realize that getting this kind of mileage is not typical for any tire. Probably 90% of my driving is highway/interstate. Tires have been rotated every 5000 miles with oil changes. I am hopeful that my second set of Fortitudes will serve me this well.

Terrible in winter and off road conditions

These came with my brand new 2018 Silverado. I've found they are a quiet ride and handle great on pavement. But not an all terrain tire as suggested. They spin bad in snow, and I've spun out and skidded on the highway in winter conditions. If you're mostly doing summer and on-road driving they are fine. But I do not reccomend for any off road or winter applications.

Impressed

These tires came with my 2015 Ford F150 XLT Crew Cab, and with most OEM tires I was a bit wary. That said I haven't had any negative experiences with these tires, and with 19,470 miles on them I can honestly say that I'm impressed. Wear, ride quality, noise, handling, and overall satisfaction has been impressive. Gotta be honest - I'm a Michelin guy, but these tires by Goodyear have convinced me that they're worthy for another look when my originals need replacement.

Excellent overall tire!

We decided to rent an RV and pull it behind our 2004 Ford F-150 (not Heritage model). We purchased the tires and are so glad we did as we ran into a Tropical storm near Houston. The RV was 28' and ~7000 LBS. While this was quite a load for the truck, we had no issues with shedding the water off the road, with control of the vehicle and with stopping. Some reviews say this tire is noisy. We absolutely don't agree. The tires are smooth, handle well, and have good stopping distance. We also noticed an increase in MPG, but can't be sure what portion of that is attributable to new tires and which is attributable to replacing the Coil-on-Plugs (COPs). Overall we increased mileage from 11 MPG to ~17 MPG. We think you'll be very happy with the tires. Note: the footprint(?) of the tire is definitely longer than the tires we had before.

Good all around truck tire

This is a good all round truck tire. The side wall pattern fits the use (truck like), but it doesn't make the noise that all terrain tires are known for. I live on a dirt road and the tires pick up a little gravel that gets spun off around 35 MPH, otherwise it's an excellent tire. I haven't driven it in snow yet, so I didn't rate winter traction.
